- Pay your billsPeople would just pay their bills and stop being drains on society we wouldn't have these annoyances.
- DaveReceived the first call from them and they hung up. Others have stated that this is a collection agency and this is a common harassment practice.
How sad that a bunch of deadbeats that work for these companies come to these places to justify their pathetic employment.
In any case no debt or unpaid accounts here. Will contact a lawyer and start court actions if this continues. Have had success with this group and received a nice check, to make it sweeter they had to pay a couple thousand more to our lawyer.
http://www.stopdebtcollectorsharassment.com/nondebtor.html - Dave replies to Fred| 2 repliesThanks for the info. I was able to call them and have them put me on the blocked number list, because they have no idea why they were calling me. My number was not in the list of people to call.
- Johan replies to DaveDon't call their number and play the rules by their game if somebody is getting hang-up calls. That's harassment and against the law.
Call the lawyers who go after these guys and you'll probably get some money out of it as well. The lawyers take the case at no charge to you if the case is good
And with these guys and their habits the case will probably be good.
The way to get them to reform is for all of us to go after them.
Also, never ever help them locate another party. - 1st Dave replies to DaveI posted a month ago and am not checking up on the link.
Really funny these guys, they are dead-beats working for this malicious agency, sometimes they tell people to pay their bills other times they tell people to call their number.
Somebody posted as false-Dave pretending to be the first "Dave" poster (Me) and saying they called.
Now that everybody knows how deceptive these guys are ...
- Don't talk to them
- Block the number if the phone can do that
- Never help them locate another party.
- Remember how disrespectfully they treat folks with hang-up calls and treat them the same way.
Also consider just turning it all over to an attorney after about 8 hung-up calls (at that point it's harassment). Attorneys will take good cases without upfront charges to the victim. If it's a good case they will press it and the malicious agency will have to pay their fees. - D.T.Who are these people and why are they calling?
- Mona ValdezThis company keeps calling us and would like them to stop. We have no collections against us. Whoever they are trying to reach it is not us.
Please stop calling.- Caller: FMS
- Nat WI was unfortunately assigned a phone number by my provider six+ months back. I began getting calls from debt collectors calling for TWO different people who had this number prior to me. I easily got rid of most of these robo calls by instructing them that I WAS NOT who they were calling for. Therefore they assured me I would be removed & harassed no longer. My last chore was FMS based in Tulsa OK. The horror stories I read about them appeared next to impossible to STOP their daily robo calls. This may help those of you who are being called constantly by them. Here's what I did.......I Blocked my caller ID then called their local Tulsa # (918) 747-4884. When their automated voice mail gave me "Options" I pressed "0" for operator. When I spoke to a live person (a lady), I explained their constant calls to me & they were calling the wrong person. She quickly said she was transferring me to "The Department" that could remove me. I thought yea right.....while waiting for a real person Their "On Hold Message" stated my call was being recorded. Excellent, because I was recording as well. Soon a man answered my call & informed me my call was being recorded. I smiled & said in a friendly manner "Were on equal ground because I'm recording too". I explained the daily harassment of FMS calls for someone who had the number BEFORE me. He said that he would remove my number but I needed to give him the # because I blocked it, remember. I felt at this point I had nothing to lose by giving it to him. He did not ask MY name, but assured me it will be removed. I told him about all the horror stories I had read about their verbal practices & I wanted my number NEVER to be returned to their robo system. Maybe he was so helpful & friendly because I was recording him, I don't know. Bottom line, these calls & others have been a major irritant to me for a long time. I had actually paid a phone provider $40- some time back to "Port" this number BEFORE these calls increased. I felt like a total victim of these Three collectors including FMS. My reason for posting this is to help anyone who gets these robo calls & they are NOT FOR YOU! It's beyond frustrating. Hopefully I have helped someone stop this madness. My best to you.

- annoyedkeep getting calls, I never answer, they are annoying.
- ddk| 3 repliesI do not know why FMS has been annoying us by constant phone calls and plan on reporting them to the BBB and my local police department if they continue. I do not owe any outstanding money and consider these calls harassment. If they do not stop I will be forced to take legal steps.

- Billy replies to ddkTheir policy is to harass customers with hang-up calls. They feel that either you'll call back the number on your caller ID or at least you'll be motivated to talk with them and get the calls to stop when a "real person" finally gets on the phone.
Expect about 20 hang-up calls before the system transfers you to an agent.
It's possible to tell what they are doing, they even state the system they have, it's possible to give higher priority to incoming calls than outgoing calls, somebody who gets called 19 times has a higher priority than somebody being called the 2nd time.
They'll say that's just the way their system works and it's done to be efficient with their agent's time, their dull employees probably don't even know this, but it's done on purpose, they make extra calls knowing this. It takes a large number of hang-up calls before it's probable an agent will answer when their auto-dialer calls you.
Who knows how they got your number, these people make tons of mistakes and get wrong numbers all the time. In my case they could easily do a check on my listed and public number and see I was not the party they were looking for, but that would be more expensive than just throwing everything at the auto-dialer. - Billy replies to ddk| 1 replyTheir policy is to harass customers with hang-up calls. - D SmithYour rep called my house and left a very offensive message. I presume he never hung up when calling. He left the message on voice mail and appeared to be talking to a colleague. Disgusting language was used! This happened 8/12/14.
- JoeThis number calls and no one is there. I let it got to the answering machine and the only thing is said is "we will disconnect now"
- ResnerThey called and hung up, so I called them, they asked for as specific person and I told him that I was not that person. I told him to put me on the Do Not Call List and he said is this where I can contact the person " he referenced first middle and last name", I said DO Not Call List. He persisted so I asked him who was calling he said Bob and whatever his last name was, which is really rude because I wanted the company name. This guy was rude and persistent, really an [***] by this time so I hung up on him. There is a law against calling a place of business and harassing someones employer. If the person he was looking for had worked here the employee could bring legal action. FMS is very unprofessional.
