I continue to receive calls from 800 600 1228 . They leave no messages . I assume some kind of scam . Help !!

A Verizon spam call. I don't have Verizon service but told me I had a $193.00 credit I could deduct from my next billing statement.
It's a scam!!!

Just got a call from this number (at work).  After seeing the other comments, I've turned my cell phone off.  Since it's November 1st, can't be Halloween related.  

Did receive 2 calls. They said for me to pay $193 and left a Web site address.

Called 3 times this morning - I only got to one it said "get $193.00 off your next Verizon bill by going to www.vzw93.com , I am thinking scam.

Called me twice and left one message : "I really care about you... and good day"
They also sent me this last month as well. This is also happening to a friend.

Got the same call today as well..called me twice yesterday 10/31/2013 and today twice in a row 11/1/2013. Both calls were about 15 mins apart.

I answered this call on my work cell phone.  A recorded message plays asking the caller to go to "vzwxxx.com" (the Xs being random numbers I can't recall) to redeem a savings certificate.

Guessing it's a phishing/fraud scheme.  

Someone mentioned the number is related to a credit union number per Google, but I doubt there's any connection to a bank or credit union other than the scammers spoofing their number and caller IDing with it.  

Got two calls today (Nov. 1) at 4:11 and 4:31 exactly.

Looking at all these comments and seeing how weird and different they are ... it's probably some hacker that can set up annoying calls at 20 min. intervals....

Whoever it is calls me every day even during class! When I figure out who it is......why I otta I otta SUE HIM

Called my husbands phone twice in 20 minutes.  No answer.  No voicemail.  Based on this here - looks like we'll keep ignoring or block.

Just got a call at 1215 eastern time on nov 2. Said I owe 203.00 and to visit a website (vzw-203.com) or funds will be withdrawn from my account.

Called me 12:31pm today but I did not answer.  

Don't worry it's just a scam, ignore it

robocall! message claims to be from verizon. say go to vzw203 and enter log in info. verizon confirms this is a scam!!!

This number called me repeatedly this afternoon.   When I finally answered it, I heard a recording that said:  "You're entitled to $203.  Just go to vzw2013.com, sign in to your Verizon Wireless account, and get $203."   Guess they are betting that a suck is born every minute!!!!

Got a call that was very obviously a recording, stating that i was owed 203 dollars. If i wanted to claim than I was to visit www.vzw-203.com. Claimed to be Verizon service?
