Got a call from this number off and on almost every day for a couple of months. Msg was always a recording. This time I answered and they transferred me to Michael Lester.. He asked for my husband. I said i was his wife could i help.. he said it was reguarding a closed Verizon account back in Aug. 2008 and he checked my husbands credit report and its showing up and we needed to clear it up. I said we are still current verizon customers. and he asked to have my husband call back and i took his number. Ok first off, we havent closed ANY Verizon acct, second he asked for my husband by his middle name, which he does go by, but ALL his accounts are under his first name. Then I checked his credit report and NOTHING on there from Verzion. Its a total scam! if my husband had a debt we should have gotten a letter in the mail.

Called at 5:30am pacific time. 5:30!!! Jack Bowardt states he spoke to me last month about a Team Mobile acct.. I dont have, and never have had T-Mobile.  He stated I had given him my home phone as a contact number and confirmed my name, but the address was not correct.  I told him he the wrong person and I hung up.  During business hours I call T-mobile to speak with the person that had called so early.  A very nice representitive researched the name and address on the acct.  She confimed this was not my acct and did not see my phone number listed as a contact on the acct.  She gave me the number to DCI. I spoke with Mr Bowardt and wanted to know how he got my number.  Did this other person actually give it or are the just going off directory listings. (my number is unlisted) He just stated he removed my phone number on the acct and hung up on me.  I call back to speak with a supervisor who said his name was Edward.  Again I wanted to know how they obtain call back phone numbers.  I explained I was worried about identity theft.  He stated that since I was not the person on the acct he couldn't discuss it with me.  I wasn't asking anything about this other persons acct. I just need to know how they get the #'s.  He said he was terminating the call because I was threatening them.  Me threatening...they are the ones that call me at 5:30am insisting I'd given them my number.  I'd like to take this further for the other folks that are harrassed by these creeps but don't know what else to do.  Any suggestions??

Someone called and when I answered it was a recording no live person they wera asking for someone in the office.  I google the phone number and it came up as Deversified Consultants Inc (DCI) it gave me and address of 10550 Deerwood Park Blvd Ste. 309, Jacksonville Fl. 32256.  They are not supposte to call a place of employment.  I am having HR write a cease and desist letter so they can stop calling. I just do not have time for games.  I work here and I am not a secratery take notes for people.

It was around 6:30Pm April 29, 2009 when a man called to my house leaving a message. Saying this message is for computer voice said my name then the man continue saying that "it was a very important personal matter, and I needed to contact them immediately because it was about collecting a debt.  The voice was so demanding and threateningly.  I was worried, so I called that day after 7:00 pm and an answer machine answered saying the name of the company DCI. I'll call them tomorrow and have more info for posting.

Some Lady called from this number and ask to talk with my husband I ask her what about she says a T-Moblie account back in 04. I told her that bill was paid and she needs to call T-Moblie beacuse we have service with them. We paid that bill with a company Amsher Collection Service. She said she was going to make an example out of me. I will block this number.

According to the Kentucky Secretary of State, this is the latest on this company.

They are a collections company that is employed by T-Mobile, but get this: I've spoken NUMEROUS times with T-Mobile Customer Relations, and they have no record of me. I did have T-Mobile service but terminated it in 2005 because of the poor service and support I received for the MDA device I bought.

They explained to me what was happening - T-Mobile actively attempts to collect past due accounts for a certain length of time. After that window expires, they write off the amount and basically consider it lost. These companies like DCI actually PURCHASE that debt from T-Mobile for pennies on the dollar, and they vigorously attempt to collect that debt that they now own, because if you cave in to their "threats", they get to keep the money since the "debt" is now theirs.

Incredibly shady business practices, and whatever they tell you - do not give in. They have repeatedly threatened that this is going to be a huge blight on my credit score, but I've pulled my credit reports in the last 60 days and there is nothing on there from either T-Mobile or this company.

Lady voice identified herself as Kim Hardly, stated that she wanted to make sure that this case was assigned to her and that she needed to make sure that I understood it was not a solicitation or sales call call and that i needed to know all my rights that I was entitled to. I just ignored that call, the 800 number was identified on a special identifier as belonging to (904) 247-5500.  Beaware of this number associated with the 800 number.

called about 5:56, left a message asking that Arthur return this call to DCI to discuss a very urgent business matter.  Arthur who, no last name, person didn't identify themself, and who is going to return a call if you don't know what they want.  nothing is that urgent that you can't identify the nature of the business.

If you could read laws of FDCPA you will see that collectors can't disclose any information on voice answering machines and whenever they call and you trying to find out what they are calling for and wouldn't identify yourself well that's 3rd party disclosure and illegal so that's why that tell you it's important. DCI is a very legit company, they are #1 collection agency in USA for 2008, and also they do not buy your debt, not a lot of collections do that anymore. So if y'all would just do more investigation on if you owe anything to a cellular company or not rather than be rude to collectors. Remember y'all the one who didn't pay the bill cuz if you did they wouldn't be calling. Plus collections calls are allowed between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. and if that's your bed time well once again you should've paid your bill, and by being rude to them don't you think they set time reminders to call you right at 8 a.m. next day????

I got a call from them at work while I was on vacation.  Apparently I owed Sprint $10 because I underpaid my last bill before I switch companies.  Anyway the man said "I am going to go ahead and make this business decision on your behalf and you're not going to like it".  I have called back several times and NEVER get to speak directly to a person.  I have received NOTHING in the mail regarding this.  All I want to do is give them their $10.

this caller keeps calling me I finally decided to answer it since 1 week ago and every time they call and I aswer it there is nobody there
they should call when there is someone there not when theres not I dont like answering these calls where theres nobody on the other end

I have been fighting with this company for over three weeks now on a TMOBILE bill for over $700 that was paid. They are saying that it wasnt paid and that we must submit a proof of payment which we have mailed in and they are claiming to have not recieved. It is very stressfull and I am about to contact a lawyer.

Everyone that has a debt is not a bad person, I dont appreciate getting calls and being talked to like a criminal. Half of these [***] calling and harassing people have outstanding bills themselves. I don't mind paying my debt but your not going to get a dime out of me calling my house at 8am talking crazy, you will however continue to get the dial tone. I am a full time student, and mother of four,and my husband is laid off because of the economy, i am not in a hurry to pay a 5yr old bill, when im struggling to pay the current ones. So when I am ready to settle my debts...which I will, it will be at my convenience, not DCI's. I am recording every call, and I will file a harassment suit if this continues. Threatening me with credit is a big joke, i don't give a damn about credit scores, when i am ready all my credit issues will be resolved and settled.

I received a message on my answering machine from a Marcella Johnson.  Mr. Johnson called me by name and said I needed to call him immediately at 800-771-5361 X1258.  It was regards to a very important matter to collect a debt. Since I don't owe anyone a debt and should not be recieving a call I checked out the number.  I am glad I checked the number first because I think it is a scam.

I just have been getting calls from them too. Everyone should call them back and just leave a message. Dont leave any info and block you number . Just tie up their voicemail.
