Yea, this company is like all the others. Every now and then I get a call from a so-called debt collector looking for me to pay a T-Mobile account. I have never had T-Mobile and they keep giving me the run around. They sent me papers to fill out for fraud and would claim they never received them and then told me to go back to the place where I used to live to file a police report for over 5 years ago. Don't think so, plus, it's not even on my credit! Losers!! They just want money!

This company left a message for me to call regarding a business matter.  When I called they said it was in regard to an overdue Sprint bill.  I told this person, in no uncertain terms, that I have NEVER had a Sprint account,  and have never had a need for a cell phone.  I also told her that I read all of the complaints regarding this attempted fraud on the web.  When I hung up she was still insisting. "Now sir, don't get...."

AMEN! You said it all for me! I agree. Not all people with debts are "bad" people. And, you make an excellent point that the collectors are hypocrites, often have their own debts. Who doesn't? How would they like calls at 5 a.m.? They wouldn't. Some creditors, utility companies, and other bills get paid on time and some get paid as soon as I can. I don't forget about the debt. I call to make payment arrangements, if needed, and keep them notified.
    I'm with you; I don't give a damn about threats of terrible credit. My ex-husband snorted my credit ten years ago. My credit still not clean (but he is!) How do you record these calls? I'm curious. I, too, am a full-time Graduate student, with four calling kids, three kept cars, two dirty dogs, (and a partridge in a pear tree!)
    I am fully aware I owe T-Mobile a pile of money. I resent companies breaking the law to make a profit of off me. T-Mobile already screwed me by refusing to postpone my account as I requested early on, before the bill became delinquent. I knew I was going to have trouble paying the bill for the next two months. Instead, they cancelled my account and racked up fee upon fee, turned off the service, and charged me two $200 early termination fees. The bill was only $70 per month regularly, and I was less than one month behind when I called T-Mobile for payment arrangement assistance. They would not do the temporary 90-day postponement unless I paid $386. The early termination fees are scandalous and made it worse. No one is going to be able to fight these outrageous fees and business practices by cellular companies like T-Mobile, Sprint, and Verizon. They all raised their early termination fees to hundreds per line. The service in my area sucked and I was stuck for two years with a useless phone-TWO of 'em! I could've made payments on $386, maybe half and half, and they would've gotten their money. Now, DCI and T-Mobile can suck it after all these calls and reading everything I've read here today. Thank you everyone who took the time to post their experiences with this phone number, etc.

Maannnn....if this stupid number calls me one more time!!! they call like 7 times a freakin day!!!! i don't owe T-Mobile crap...my company is Sprint! i'm having this number blocked!

These people are terrible. I just started getting their phone calls and they are call consistently on a daily basis. Today I have gotten 5 phone calls from them and it's only 3:40 where I live.

They are really agitating me and it is stopping me from working having to mess with these damn calls. They leave no messages. All of my bills are payed on time. I'm seeing a lot of cell phone bill issues which in no way in hell can be me. I hope they call me again outside of work hours so I can give them a piece of my mind.

Stop these [***] COLD.  I did not have ANY debt and these A holes kept  calling asking for someone that used to have my new Number. Now they are illegally cloning  local numbers and calling so you will answer. My attorney advised to keep logs and try to record their calls which is legal in this state if you inform them when the conversation begins. Some state do not even need permission from a home phone.  Also get their mailing Address.   Call an Attorney as soon as you feel you are being harassed &, they will take your case for FREE if you are in the same situation. (Being harassed for a debt that is not yours) . When done correctly you cannot lose. Expect to collect a minimum of 1000.00 depending on the case.  The Attorney will fill you in on this. They will readily take the case because these bill collectors settle quickly as a cost of doing business.  Sure they will take a chunk out of the settlement but the calls will stop and the party harassing you with illegal calls will pay YOU for their harassment.

Do you work for these shady characters? Sure sounds like you do, because that's the same line of bull that you get if you talk to them. For those people that never had a bad account and have no reason to be harrassed, what do you suggest to them? To pay someone else's bill? Sure, that's really smart.

this is from diversive consultants, when they asked for me i stated just a moment, returned to the phone and stated, i am recording this call, who are you, he gave me a name of mike lynn. i stated the number you had called does not belong to that person, when he asked if i knew the person, i stated no, then i stated i wanted my phone number deleted or I would call department of consumer credit and report him. he stated it takes 24 hrs to have my number deleted from their system, i then stated i dont care what he has to do, but i have him on recording and if he was to call again, i would report him. you dont have to accept these type of calls, if you tell them you are recording the conversation, he stated he would not allow me to record this conversastion, i stated i alread have, and if you dont stop calling i would report it to department of consumer credit, this should stop these calls, because if you get it on recording and then turn it into department of consumer credit, even if it is your name, they have to stop calling you.  they are a 3rd part collection. phone number 1/800-7715361

Just got this sim card yesterday. I've noified T-Mobile of all the spamming,texts messages and phone calls I'm getting. They tell me that they recycle their numbers and teir technical team will have it resolved in 72 hours. It better b, or I'm ging with another provider. I've had 172 txt messages in less han 24 hrs!!!!!!

This person Jonathan West called from 1-800-771-5361 x 1352 and told me I owed for an over due sprint bill.  I have never had sprint account.  They called and continually harrassed me.  Told me that they would screw up my credit.  I am an elderly woman, they scared the heck out of me.  I asked them to mail me something and he just laughed at me.  Told me they knew this was my bill so I paid it.  I am reporting this company to the BBB and other agencies for harassing older people.  I finally contacted an attorney who is going to see if we can find out what to do about this company.

I also talked to this gentlman and company about my Tmobile bill.  He was one of the nicest bill collectors I've dealt with.  Not all bill collectors are rude, he was very understanding of my situation and helped me with monthly payments I could afford.  Thank you Mr. West and Diversified for your help and cooperation.
