- Caller: Service
- cbyeah, these [***] call and leave messages on my cell trying to sound like cops. The man uses a very domineering tone, implying threat and only says that I "need to call him back TONIGHT, MAM" . He says only that it's a 'very serious matter'. Clearly he is trying to impersonate police or other authority. But alas scare tactics of lowlife scum will not work on me. What a piece of work.
- RoxAnnI have been receiving tons of calls from this number at my cell phone. They are asking for someone that is not living with me anymore. Marsha, the lady that I spole with, said that this is the number that the person gave her. I told her to please stop calling that I don't have contact with the person she is looking for but the calls continues..... sometimes they hang up when I answer the phone.. I can't stand this anymore.

Persistence is an essential trait of successful collections. Guaranteed This Contacts, a "predictive dialer", provides persistence that collectors cannot manually duplicate. Using Guaranteed Contacts enables our collectors to efficiently and quickly contact account holders.
Guaranteed Contacts dials thousands of numbers each day. Through dialer strategies selected by the computer, telephone numbers to be called are placed in a dialing pool. No-answers are called every 3 hours. Busy signals and redials are called every 10 minutes.
I guess voisemail works the same as busy!- Caller: Regional Adjustment Bureau, Inc.
- Laughing at RABJust answer and hang up in one swift motion so they don't fill your voicemail box.
- mariThis company is from Texas Guarantee Student loans they are very rude, they dont let you talk at all, but they are also going by a phone # 8006685715 so they are working from both
- Caller: not sure
- AmberRThey have called my cell phone for 3 months now. Little do they know i have block list on my phone, so all i receive are voicemails. No biggie i just delete them. Yes they are a student loan agency which is why i blocked them, they seem to be very persistent though. Whatever you do, dont talk to them, they cant do much if you dont acknowledge who they are. Oh and i just finished my fist year of college without needing to take out a student loan. They are just calling random numbers to look like they are doing their job in front of supervisors. Some of my acqaintences in college did this for extra cash.
- steve baselwil not stop calling we are on a do not call list.
- T MARTINEZthis # 800.829.7204 was on my caller ID 9 times 08/11/09. when I called to see who and what they wanted...they were so evasive and just kept asking me for my information!!! I told them you called me!!! this is outrages!!!! and so intrusive. SHE REFUSED TO id THE COMPANY...SAID THEY REPRESENT MANY COMPANIES!!!!!
- fredI check phone numbers all the time when I see them from out of area. Most of them are related to school loans, which I am not even trying to pay. I never answer. Lawyer told me that I was "judgment proof." I'm getting my bailout.
If someone lives in or near Cordova, Tn, why not go to the address and start filming employees? Follow them around for a while, to a bar or something and let them end up telling you how they break the law or bend it. Send that to authorities. I remember seeing a TV report that basically did this. Turning the tables was hilarious. Get their names and phone numbers. Get an air horn and call them back, and be sure to include a laugh before you hang up. Get your friends involved instead of harassed. Tie up their lines.
Never put money into your bank account until you are actually paying something---fill it up and empty it, leave a few bucks. Work for yourself. Document like the other folks suggested and bust them. Fight back!- Caller: RAB
- Treia MappleWho are these people and why do they call your home they are very evasive puts you on alarm there is something amist
- AMThey were also extremely rude to me and from the comments I can tell they're breaking lots of laws. Please, please report them to the Federal Trade Commission. They need to be shut down or fined into better business practices. They threatened to call me family and friends, threatened legal action and then hung up on me.
- TracieThese people call and hang up everyday 5-10 between 7am and 9am
- LindaFor everyone out there, the Regional Adjustment Bureau is calling about student loans.

- Steve| 1 replyJust bought a new cell phone from Net10 and activated it. Looks like I bought into a bunch of problems with debt collectors....
Looks like the amount of available phone numbers is so limited that net10 has to pass a phone number from a closed account to the next customer within days... The nice feature of this phone is that it lets you block numbers and thats what I have been doing all day long. - Susan SmithFirst I got calls from Chris Wilson looking for an Amy Smith. Never heard of him or her. After googling I learned that this company RAB is fishing for information to call and harass debtors. Everything they tell you is a lie. My name is very common so I'm now getting lots of these calls. If you do have a debt they will call your neighbors to leave you messages, trying to get ANYONE with the name they are looking for, even if it's not that person's debt. Apparently they cast a wide net hoping to catch something. So about 99.99% of all their calls are part of the net. Don't give them any real information. I have started making up information and pretending to be Amy Smith because I can't get them to leave me alone and take my number out of their database. I'm going to let my landline go and just use a cell phone from now on.

- Byron Ohler8008297204 ..this number just started calling my phone this morning. Only twice so far, but, no messages. I have never had a student loan. We have no outstanding debt that is in collections. I was going to call it back and find out what the deal is, but, after reading here, i'll just put them on block mode.
- Byron replies to SteveFrom what I understood, they have to let a number be dead for a year before it can be reused...I'd contact the cell company and get a new number, on their dime....
- JimDid a whois search on them since they are being harassing to me as well:
