A legitimate collections company would not be calling you in the middle of the night for one thing. They are required to tell you who they are and why they are calling you. These people are scammers/criminals/drug addicts looking to steal money from legitimate people

Really? That's very interesting. Where do you obtain your facts anyway? I have never had a student loan and don't owe money to anyone. You are giving some pretty dangerous advice telling people to give personal information to criminals.

On July 14, 2014, Regional Adjustment Bureau entered into a settlement agreement with the Federal Trade Commission. The agreement settles allegations that the business engaged in false, deceptive, unfair or harassing debt and collection practices.
