i just got a call, the guy said may i speak to ,,my name,,i asked what it was about, then he said my address, i said is this about a bill, he said my address again and i said i'm not going to answer until you tell me what the call is about. he said it was the law that i agree with my address..i don't think so mister, unless you tell me what it is about first i'm not telling you anything. so he said that he would call me back when i was more co-operative. i told him well don't call me back unless you are going to tell me what it is for and he kept on talking as i hung up on him. no one has the right to get me to aggree with him asking me about my home address without telling me what the call is about in the first place. i got my identity stolen a few years ago and i'm very wary when someone won't tell me what the call is about, most people usually do, but this guy wasn't going to budge so i wasn't about to tell him or let him know my address. you tell your senior family members not to give out their addresses either when someone calls and won't tell you what the call is about first. that's the law, never give out personal information on the phone, any policeman will tell you that.

Received a call from this number at 8:00 p.m. Sunday evening asking for a family member who does not live here.  The three options that were stated did not give me an option to remove my number from their list or inform them that the person does not live in my home.  Called the family member and gave them the number.  They immediately called the number and no one answered the telephone.  I believe that this is some sort of scam.  We will not answer any more calls from this telephone number.

I called this same company 01/15/13 @ 4:09 pm central time to discuss a letter I rec'vd from them sayin gI owe a balance$ 54.78 for ordering a CD Clock Radio form Publishers Clearing House ID#R6199666 and I tried explaining to the CSR that I never order it and give me proof because I was disputing it. She get very nasty attitude on the phone so I asked to speak to her Supervisor. She asked twice "Why?" I hung up, faxed in a complaint note & the next morning did a follow-up  call. The operator could not find a manager nor a Supervisor. I left a message for someone to return my call for the compliant. After reading all these messages, I know now I will not get a call. I WILL NOT pay for naything I dodn't rec'v not will they put this on my credit. I'm going to call Creditors to have them amil me a report so I can file or either company.

I have received over 50 calls in the last 10 min or so, about 4:25 it's 4:34 now, about 7 per minute, it may have stopped now, but this is insane. After reading these comments, there's no way I'm going to answer this. I don't owe jack to anyone. If it starts again I'm going to contact the Penn. State Atty Gen office and report them. Someone else helpfully left an address for these jackwagons, so I'm going to use it. I won't be held hostage by a computer dialing machine. They can KMA.

I've been unlisted for more than 40 years and have gotten this message once for the alst two days. I'm never home so it;s n my answering machine. I delete and ahve no intention of calling back.

The caller is a collection agency entitled, Penn Credit Payment Center, P.O. Box 988, Harrisburg, PA, 17108.  They called me looking for my sister who resides in another state.  They will call family members or friends in order to seek the whereabouts of the individual indebted to them.  I, too, have also reported them because this is definitely unlawful.

Calls from 800-900-1380 continued even after I sent a certified "cease & desist" letter and got the return receipt.  13 days later I filed a complaint against Penn Credit with Harrisburg BBB at

and soon received an egregious response from Penn Credit--"Penn Credit takes pride in following all Federal and State Collection laws. "[no acknowledgement of receipt of my C&D letter]  
"We received notification that we were calling an incorrect phone # in March 12, 2013.  The phone number was removed from out active database the same day. " [this notice was from Harrisburg BBB, did not involve an 'incorrect phone #,' and, again no reference to my letter they signed for 14 days previous]

I got a call from this company looking for someone with my name, I too was doing my research on a company and immediately after I contacted the fraudulent company this company called me. I think they are in the same circle and were calling to see who I was. It is scary but it's true this is a scam.

i have reading post about the number 1-800-900-1380 and everyone said the same thing that its a collection agency calling about a debt havent called for my self because i screen all my calls so i dont have to hear there spill about someones debt of coarse they dont leave a message so i dont call them they call at lease 2-3 a day and about 3 times a week im on the do not call list but i guess it doesnt work for every one i wish they would find the person there looking for then maybe they would leave me and every one else alone i would sue if you could for hassment then i bet they would leave me and every one else alone thanks for reading

this is what  the recorded msg  said" i have personal business information -please  press 1 for  this information in  english ' , then it said after i  ignored  the  msg 2x---' we did not  get the proper response=goodbye" --stupid ass--didn't say  any  name at all---and my caller ID says Penn Credit Corporation
