new chase number from old 877-226-5663.  sends automated notice to us at business EVERY day, and we dont' have ANY chase business?????????????Chase can't figure out either. thanks..........but still calls EVERY day....

Who is this and why are they calling me?  It says it is a chase alert, yet CHASE has no record of any call from this number.   STOP THIS MADNESS.

Get a call from this number at least 4 times a day. Leaves no voicemail. If i answer, it says press 1 to accept a call from <blank> or press 2 to leave a voicemail.

I call back the number and get Chase customer service. If I could sue these [***] I would. It's that annoying.

I recently signed up for bill reminders and recieved both a text message and a phone call....Problem solved maybe?

Received a call from 800-935-9935 reminding me to activate my credit card within 2 weeks etc.  I don't have an account with Chase.  I called them and talked to Vanessa in their fraud division and she checked it out for me, called the cc department etc. and concluded that there may be a typo and I may be linked to someone else account.  She put me on the do not call list.  I informed her to check out the other people online who have had a similar situation so as to get a handle on it.  She was nice and did seem concerned and perplexed.  There is nothing in their system tying me to Chase, again, I don't have an account with them.

I got a letter telling me to call this number to activate my replacement debit card.  I never got a replacement debit card. I tried calling the number and the woman could not give me anything that would let me know this really is chase and not a scam. she asked for my whole social security number and debit card number and pin. i told her no, i was not comfortable giving her any of that information, and she told me to call back and enter the information into the phone. I didn't do it.

Stop calling  me!

I, like many others here, was receiving calls (3 times a DAY!!!  Even Saturdays!!)  for an account that was NOT mine.  I have NEVER had an account with Chase (and never will!)  It started when I changed my phone number..apparently the old owner of my number had an account and had opted to receive daily calls.  

After NUMEROUS calls (too many to count), I finally (I THINK) figured out how to get them to stop.

Call back the same number (800-935-9935.)  (Going to try to remember the exact process, may not be exact but I'll try to get it close.)  

First choose to talk to a live person (possibly press *-something?)

Go through the automated call until you get to "for all other calls, press 6."

At some point they will ask you to enter your account information -- if you're like me you don't have an account, so you have nothing to enter -- just let it run through the request for information several times without pushing anything.  It has to run through like 3-4 times.  

It will finally ask, "is it a personal or business account?"  I chose personal.

Finally a live person came on who didn't help at all after I explained everything (I told her "I don't have a Chase account, I never had a Chase account and I am receiving calls for an account that is not mine."  She then very politely asked "I'm sorry to hear that, can I have the number to your Chase account?"   Grrr.

I then asked to speak to her supervisor.  After quite a while she came on the line and said "So you're receiving updates for an account that is not yours, do you by any chance have the last 4 digits of the account?"  The automated messages I get EVERY day do include this information so I gave it to her.

She seemed to find the account quickly and removed the number/alerts.  I told her I wanted my number removed from the whole account, but I'm not sure she actually did this.  

After SO many calls to Chase, this was the most promising one yet.  I am actually hopeful they might stop.  It's been over a month of 3 calls a day so I am reluctant to get my hopes up too high...but maybe.

I will repost if it doesn't work.  Just wanted to help someone else out who is as frustrated as I am.  Screw Chase Bank, I hope you guys rot in hell!!!!   Sorry...had to get that out.

Googling the number today, I came up with a listing of this number by Chase presenting it as the number to call to inquire about CDs, market accounts and other Chase banking and investment services.  Whatever the Chase shills say, calling your number and leaving no message is simply a telemarketing come-on by Chase to get you to call the number yourself, so they won't be accused of making unwanted telemarketing calls to your no-call number.  Don't call back.  Try to block the number.  [***].

Still calls me everyday on an account I never had and I have called them asking them to stop.  Both times they said I was taken off of the list and it would take a month.  Guess what?  Three months later, they are still calling everyday (twice today).  I called them and said that I was recording the conversation and they told me that they wouldn't answer any questions as long as I was recording it.    

Funny thing is, there's a Chase bank down the street and I considered starting an account there but will never EVER do it now.  BTW, I have owned this phone line for over 4 years.

Has any of this worked for anyone? I am getting e 3 calls a day and I called them 4 times to stop.

It's a phishing attempt by a Nigerian (what else?) scam.  You receive a "official" letter from someone who says they're from "US Financial Center" or similar.  You're told to dial the Chase number and press 1# until you are asked for the account number.  When you get to that prompt, you're supposed to enter some fictitious account number.  I have no idea what the fake account number is for, if you want to call and enter it, you're on your own.

Got a call from this number today and told me I had a payment due in 5 days. I have a ZALES card that is tied to chase bank but I haven't spent a PENNY on that card. Why call if nothing is owed?? I'm shredding the card and blocking the number. I suggest everyone do the same.

Were you able to get them to stop? I called to complain numerous of times and the last one took my number down and said she was going to notate it not to contact and etc.  It stopped for a couple days but I am still getting calls.   I'm just wondering if you've had any luck?

chase alert and press 1 to talk to customer service. I press 1 and the call it disconnected. Tired of this crap evry day at 4 am i work please stop calling me ..I dont even have a Chase account..

I received a text from number 95686 claiming my debit card is going to expire (looked at my card and it says 2 years from now) and called back confused. They responded with automated machine sounding just like the Chase but I thought it was still fishy and looked up Chase contact numbers and they didn't match. This is obviously a Hoax and DO NOT give them any information!

This number called saying I was being named as a defendant. Gave case number said WARNING I had 72 hours to call and comply that this was by the regulations both State and Federally. If I did not call the number and speak to a Mediator that has been assigned to me they would someone would be coming to my home or work and serve me personally.
Anyone know anything about this number or any such message?
