Just got a call from this #, I rejected it to let it go to my VM, of course no VM was left, and thank you guys for leaving warning on internet here!!!

Caller left a message on my wife's cell phone regarding the "increase limit request" for my chase card.  She doesn't  have one.  SCAM!

a message was left, but the voice was unclear. I could not understand what was being said.

Called at 10:40 Thanksgiving night. Left no message. I have no Chase card linked to this phone number. Scam....

This is a scam! They didn't leave a message, so I searched the number and saw Chase come up. When I called the number on the back of my card instead, they said this was fraud call. Please make sure to always call the number on your card!

It's a valid Chase number. It's possible some of these calls are spoofing Chase's number, but there's nothing they can do about that.

Received a call from this number, young man stated it was Chase fraud prevention verifying my identity. I had completed a credit application a few days prior. I was weary because the email I received had said I’d be contacted by mail. Long story short I went to the Chase website to get their customer service number so I could call and find out if this was indeed a call from them before I gave any information. I was informed that yes it was a valid number and after spending a couple minutes looking around the site I found this number on the site also. I hope this information is helpful. So, this IS the number on the back of my card.  Just so we're clear: 800-935-9935.  So, it's definitely safe to call the number.  However, numbers can be ghosted, so if you receive a call from this number and don't feel good about their questions, hang up and call it back.  It will go to the legit source, if it wasn't them to begin with.

I received a call from this number - about my credit card - called the number on the back of the card and it was verified that the call came from them....checked my bank and my card had been canceled, charges had been deleted from my account,  all seems on the up and up!!!!

I got a call from 1800-935-9935 telling me they needed to talk to me about a problem with my credit card and to call her back at 1866-582-0130.  I found that to be the number for United Health Care.  I called Chase & they said there were no notes of any problem on my card.  The caller ID showed number belonged to a Nava Ameila. yet the person calling said he name was Aden. This cal is a fraud.

Got a call at 6:30 A.M. from "Chase Fraud alert". Asked the person to call back later and he did. On second call he immediately asked for 8 digits of my credit card. I refused and ended the call. Called Chase bank at 800 935 9935 and the call did not originate from them.

Keep getting call from this number in Japanese which I do not speak.  Called the number and it was Chase do not have an account with Chase.  They said to e-mail abuse@chase.com which goes nowhere.

This number called and said from Chase. I felt so weird because they spoke it in English and Chinese. Then I press 1, and a man said hello in mandarin. I replied him in English, the man hang out. It is definitely fake number.

These guys hacked and got 100,100, and a 200 $ quick pay I didn’t pay for a Luis

Received 2 partial voicemail messages allegedly from (800) 935-9935 directing me to call (646)740-0690 "to repeat this message". I am not a Chase customer and contacted Chase instead. They confirmed the (646) number is not one of theirs.

The caller said they had a new offer to help lower the rates on my auto loan and asked for my Chase account number to assist me. I gave her a fake number and she said thank you and disconnected. I don't have an account with Chase nor an auto loan with them. :P

Received suspicious call: low quality voicemail message.  Guy with accent, said he was from Chase. asked me to call a different number for some reason that was urgent.  The number is a legit Chase number,  but foreign thieves spoofed it, trying to obtain critical personal information.  After telling them my account number, credit card numbers and social security number, they fixed the problem.  Just kidding, don't give strangers personal information!
