- patty00They are constantly calling my cell phone and NOBODY I know has that number. Its used only for emergency outgoing calls. I don't ever answer figuring sooner or later they'll give up.
- sprintuser replies to JessicaIf you have Sprint, you can add the phone number to your blocked call list. The caller will receive a message that your phone is currently not accepting calls.
- buffieThis number calls my house 12 times a day leaves no message . this is harrasment !!
- Saint2013Got at least 12 calls in 2 days from this number. When I answered they said they were calling for my wife's JCPenny credit card and that she was late with a payment. They said that she had made a charge of $95.00 on the 25 of Mar 2013, however, we have not used the card in a year and made final payment in Oct 2012. They kept pushing for a payment and wanted my wife's SSAN and Card Number, but we said we would go to our local JCP and check on it then hung up. The next day we went to our local JCP customer service and they verified that we had a zero balance and was not behind on any payments nor did we owe anything. Be careful of this number. For us it was a scam.
- Call type: Debt collector
- natalie replies to irritated| 1 replyi got the same call and it turned out to be someone from paypal billing.

- Call type: Telemarketer
- DonAs odd as this may seem I was glad I got this call from GE Credit. It was about a late credit card payment. I've paid in full monthly forever. When I tried to pay last month the site was down and I forgot to get back to it. I took the call everything they had information on was correct. So it was legit. I saved a $25 late fee by taking care of bill over the phone.

- WTHthis number has called the business where I work 6 times today and as soon as I answer, they hang up. No person, message or anything. Frustrating
- Caller: unknown - no one to talk to
- fed upWe keep getting calls wanting to know who is in charge of our late EX daughter in laws affairs. We have told them that we do not know and we don't. She walked out on her family over 5 years ago. I don't know if it is this same number or not but if it is an 800 number we no longer answer. I ask how they got our number and I think they just started calling anyone with the same last name.

- sreynolds77Getting calls from this number...call, but leave no message. When I call the number--800/945-6596, I get a message that it's credit services and I'm to enter my account number. Since I have no account number, I make one up, but I'm not allowed past that point.
- Caller: credit services
- FedUpWithThisSh*treceive several calls all day long, early as 7am late as 9pm....for over 2 weeks straight, i have rejected the call on my phone so it never comes through now. Idiots never leave a message, you would think if it's legit and they want money that you supposedly owe, they would leave a way for you to get back to them.
- Caller: Credit Services
- Lrs replies to JessicaGo to the Sprint website, you can block up to 50 numbers for incoming calls.
- JohnOkay, so here is the deal. This number REALLY DOES belong to GE Money/Bank/whatever they are calling themselves. I actually went to GE's website, found their "contact us" phone number and called it.
I gave the lady I spoke with the number above, she looked it up, and said it belonged to their collections department. I then told her that I've never had, nor currently have, any account or business with GE or any of the companies it services (amazon, PayPal, etc.). She searched their database using my name, zip code, asked to search using my SS number but I told her no. She said she couldn't find me in their system. Which I said makes sense, since I have no business with them. I then asked why, all of the sudden out of the blue would you all start callin me. I've had the same cell phone number for 9 years. She said its possible there was a typo, or someone gave out my number. She did say that they would take my number off their list. I said thanks, and that was the end of the call. I didn't me mention the number was already blocked on my phone using Smart-Limits. I'm not sure if they call from other numbers, but if these people call again, next step is small claims court. I wouldn't even bother with the FTC, or any of that crap. Hit these people in the only place they seem to understand, the wallet!- Caller: GE Money

- Butterflymarie23This number calls me and when i decline the call they leave a message but it just leaves me a address
- MaryI have no idea who they are but they call my phone every 20 minutes, tired of it. It is an everyday thing.
- BobJust received my 5th or 6th call from these clowns today. I looked up the number, and here we are, which tells me they are a scam and I blocked them after the first call. Never even attempted to speak to them. But, to the point. ...I sent a complaint to the DO NOT CALL folks who as I found in the past are somewhere between useless and non-existent. If you look back on this site this number has been at it for years. Now, do not even attempt to tell me the phone companies and government don't have the ability to trace it back, even if it is a spoof. It is time we fire some useless government employees and contact our congressional representatives and look for a law that penalizes the carries for allowing this mess. Right now they get rewarded for these calls. I had so many different numbers last year that I contacted Comcast and they offered me less 'free' blocked numbers than I was getting calls from some weeks. They did have a program for more but I would need to pay them extra. Take the profit and the carriers and I bet problem will decline!
