Just been charged £55.80 made up of 72 messages from 80160 showing on my bill. I have not subscribed to this number and neither have I received anything from them. Because of this my normal Orange bill of around £20 was in fact £79 !!!!. On top of that it put my account overdrawn and now face bank charges.

I have filled out the contact form on Mblox site and told them that I hold them fully responsible and if I do not get my money back I shall make an official complaint to Ictis.

I'm on O2 and have to top up everymonth to get my free texts and I've gotten the same text everymonth from 80160 about mid month every month, charging me about £.25, but have just been ignoring it. Today I got 2 texts from them charging me 1.25 for each text! I have no idea how they have my number, I've never downloaded from them before. The text says
"Ulnimited Downloads! Content uploaded weekly at http://www.mobisnakz.com/hitit/"

I have had problems with this service. A friend also has had lots of credit taken from a Pay As You Go
mobile & thinks it is to do with this service. In the past they have even charged me for so called "pranking" where i have not accepted the reverse charge, merely answered the call, which, if memory serves me, showed up as a private number withheld. I will be posting a query on the moneysavingexpert forum tosee if I can get some answers.

If you have had a 08000 mum and dad call from someone and if you have said yes JUST once even for 30 sec you will me charged, then if you get a call from mum and dad yet do not answer it (Prank) you will still be charged I have just had my phone bill in and it has £23 worth of these call you need in the 1st place to ring  08000 151 455 follow the automated service and bar all calls from mum and dad from your phone. I am not happy I have written to them asking for my money back, if not I am taking them to the small claims court WATCH THIS SPACE.

I get these calls every month.I have not requested them Suspect a mysterious charge labelled 'text information' £1.27 x2 is being added to my Vodaphone bill.About to take it up with them and possibly Ofcom.

I am not normally stumped but I am this time, although I was overcharged by £9.50 do check your bill, if you have said yes to a reverse call mum and dad it is £1.50 per min or part of and a £3 conection charge, sent to your mobile as premuin txt.

A way round it get a PAY As YOU go sim DON'T top it up and say yes to all reverse calls, you will only be charged when you top up ( pay back for all those over charges)

why does everytime i top up i get a message saying thankyou for using smsunltd.com.coverage who are these i have had nearly £10 taken from my account and i refuse to top up incase they do it again and i really need my credit coz i have important phone calls to make how are they allowed to do this i have kids and roblems i need to sort out i have had my number for 3 years and dont want to change it but to be honest if thats what it takes i will have to i am very dissapointed could someone help me and please state what i have to do to end this i dont have money as it is !

beem recieving this messages from 80160,saying i have free 500 txt to use via smsunltd.com..as its stated there that the msg is free i just ignore it,,id only learn i was being charge 1.50/text which i recieve 5 x a mos when i subscribe to online banking,,thats almost a year,,how can we stop this

Call them - at least if you get free calls to land lines you won't have to pay to call them.

Complain to your service provider too - they may be able to block the messages??

I received two text message stating "I am currently subscribed to a music subscription service for £1.50 per month" untill I send 'STOP' to 80160. I didn't request this service.
I only have a PAYG phone, how would they collect the money?

I am getting texts from this number at a cost of £1.25 a time. Have no idea who they are or why. Absolute scam, it's a disgrace.

I have just received one of those messages as i have done many times before, after reading all the messages on this site i have texted back to 81404 as i am on orange to get a reply that i have been removed from their list. yipee i put 5pds in my phone last night and now only have 1pound left, lets hope it works.
