Have been sending STOP to 80160 for over 2 years! I get confirmation text "Free message your number has been stopped and removed" Then get text following week with new charge of £1.50! Have rung their helpline on each text 08709740563 and spoken with employee who assures me my number has now been removed but I am still charged the next week! Sometimes charged the next day!!

The best thing you can do is just changing your number- honesly, that's what I was advised in "proffesional" T- mobile salon!!! So now I just rely on internet and will try to send STOP ALL - hope that will help! ;)

I have received texts the last 2 months from this number and just deleted them as junk, but have been charged £1.50 for each and on my bill the number comes up as 700034423.

Virgin Mobile say they can't help or block it in future, but I have no idea how they got my number. Any ideas as to who it is?

    THANKS!

Your contract is with O2 who will have given these scammers part of the loot. Tell O2 you want the refund from THEM. They will argue but it is O2 who took your money and gave it away to a scammer.
