Same call, strong accent.... knew my name, told me he is with window security, wanted me to open computer to open a file, and saying that there is a reason why he is calling me.....
I told him my windows are just washed and cleaned with windex, if he can do toilets?

the same Indian guy with heavy accent, says he is from a windows center. He has called every day around 7pm.   I asked for his name and he gave me Peter, then after he was asking me if I have a windows computer I asked for his last name and he kind of changed his first name. I kept asking questions, where are you calling from. He tried to ignored. I rephrased Are you calling from another country?  he got upset and he F#@ d and said he was in California and I kept repeating Which country are you calling from?  he got super upset and hanged up.  I was not going to give him any of my info.

Man with accent from "Windows Computer Security Center" called me on my cell phone. Says he knows I recently updated to Windows 10 and have hackers in my computers whenever I open up. Gave me the name Jack Pearson at phone #347-227-6900. I told him not home. He said he would call back in one hour. Told me not to open my computers until he called, at which time he would instruct me on which keys to hit. One hour later, my phone recorded  5 calls from 802-201-5896 (which went to voice mail with no message)  and two from PRIVATE NUMBER. I did not answer and pulled the battery. Called phone company to block numbers.

gentleman with a foreign accent asking if i was near my computer and that for the last few weeks my computer was sending reports. He asked if i can turn my computer on and and he can walk me through fixing it. I don't think so. I am not letting some stranger out of the blue get access to my computer.

Just got the Windows scam. Said "I'll be nice here and tell you not to cal again with your scam". He then started to go through my family members and say some not nice things. Next time, I'll play along for a while to really get him going.

Caller keeps caling and when you pick up, says nothing and the finally hangs up.

Same as all the others. Man with middle eastern accent, claiming he is calling from Microsoft and that my computer has been hacked. He asks you to give him info on your computer screen, do not do this! I told him I felt uncomfortable with this. He then raised his voice and told me to tell him what was on the screen NOW! I told him, this was a scam and not to call my house again and he said You are the scammer...mother f.....er. so upset someone like this even has my phone number. Can't get caught soon enough!

Frauds attempting to get access to my computer from India or the Malaysia Region.  Don't even tell them your name or one bit of info.  They have no access to the knowledge they try to make computer novices believe they can see and can only defraud you.  Some of these are likely the hard drive malware "LOCK-UP" crooks who lock your hard drive and demand a ransom to unlock it. If you are on the Do Not Call List, tell them so and report their call to the DNC reporting system.  Eventually the Government may do something other than run for re-election.   ...   What am I saying, so unlikely huh!

2 back to back calls on my cell from this number and 323-406-5883 both for Windows phishing calls.  Guy with Indian accent saying I need to purchase windows maintenance plan.  Easiest way to stop them is to say you only use mac's to avoid issues like this.  He ended the call pretty quickly after that.

It is a scam.  They call me, too.

Said he was calling in regard of a complain with our computer said we did not have one he hung up

Same story as everyone else....won't give company name, insisted there was a problem with my computer, I've asked to be removed from his "list" but they continue to call

I also have received multiple calls from this number. He said I had a virus on my computer, he then asked for my location, and other things I deem confidental, I hung up and put the number on permanent block.

A nasty man with an Indian accent called about my computer. I knew he was a scammer and was not at all nice. He called me back 4 times, screaming and cursing at me! I told him the FBI would be notified. That shut him up.  Try it!
