Don't answer.   East Indian scammer wanting into PC to check windows software.   When told I didn't use any Windows, quickly hung up!!

Claimed he was calling from Security Department. Also claimed, as noted upstream, that my computer has been hacked. I asked how he knew this, he said it was because the computer was sending out that message. I asked how he knew my phone number, he said my computer has that information. So I stated, then, that he had hacked into my computer. No response. I asked for a supervisor. He called me an [***]. He said there is no supervisor. I asked the name of his company, he repeated Security Department. I asked department of what. He said that's the name, based in an office building in downtown Los Angeles. I asked whether it was a publicly traded company or a privately owned company. He said it was a government company. I asked which unit of the government. He said the Security Department. I said there's no such thing and I started laughing real loud (it is funny if you think about it). He then hung up. I had a little bit of fun, since it knew these are scams anyway.

I got a call from this phone number a few minutes ago(802) 201-5896
VT, USA, stating he's calling from windows, I'm guessing Microsoft. He says he's been seeing some vicious attacks on my computer in the last couple of days, and I told him I didn't have a computer and he hung up. The best part is is I do have a computer but my computer has been on the Internet for several daysand I know Microsoft doesn't make calls like that.

Me too. I'm 70 and the debate was the best mental exercise that I've had in years. He ended by saying that he F* my mother for which I responded back that she's dead sicko-you like the smell of rotting flesh? He hung up. Can't wait for the next call. I'm recording them now-lol.

Keep your important files on a flash drive and reset your computer to factory default every so often. It 100% cleans every virus from the system but when the scammer discovers that you are likely to begin getting the emails and calls again. Factory reset was the worst thing developed against hackers. TIP: any TRUSTED downloaded programs put in a flash drive folder so you can easily restore them and won't have to wonder if that is the right site again.

someone called from this company saying they were from windows and they recieved error codes from my computer on there server, they wanted to help resolve problem...............sure

I just got another call from 802-201-5896.  This jerk has called me for the last two months.  The last time I reamed him up and down and told him I was going to get the police involved.  I did not hear from him for a week or so and today he's back again.  He is definitely foreign born, heavy accent.  Why do we allow these people to get away with these scams.  I have reported this many times and he still keeps calling back.

This number calls several times a day.  Shows the number and VT, USA.  My son answered last evening and they hung up on him.

Some camel jocky called me asking about my computer I asked him what was wrong with it then he asked me how many computers I had I asked him how many he had. He sounded like the same dumb ass that called the day before telling me he was from the IRS . I give the [***] [***] a hard time and they hang up on me.

I have received 8 calls in the last week, each time I tell them to lose my number from their list, the middle-eastern person wants to fix my windows pc.

sound like an scam to me,. told me i have a virus in my computer and he wants me to connect to my computer to fix it. he asked me several time if my computer was off. i told him yes. he wants me to tuen it on. i said yes right i will call you. he gave me a number 347-227-6900 and told me to ask for Daniel. common an hindu guy called Daniel?  please... looks like we wants to enter in my coumputer to get information. please do something.

Got a call from a man with an accent, he said something about my computer isn't safe. I said it was just fine. He seemed to have an attitude. ..so I hung up on him. I should have played along just to irritate him. Next time I think I will.

Same as Mr. H  -  Further stated I had a virus on my computer that was contacting his computer.  He wanted me to do some things on my PC.  LOL  Not going to happen.  I told him I had no virus on my PC and hung up the phone.   I should have talked to him longer.  I love calls like this, but my dinner was ready.  I am a lonely man.

when answering machine came on..they hung up.  No company name TEST CODE, definitely SCAM!!!!!!!

same as all the others. they continuously call my business saying my windows pc has an issue. the last 3 times i have told him "hold the line while i go check" and walk away. i wish i could call the number back to mess with them but it comes up disconnected. jerks can't take their own medicine.

i love telemarketers it is a challenge to me to make them hang up on me ,so i made my voice sound asian and threw a bunch of ding dow doe dongs in there, on the first call it was a foreign sounding guy souned like a [***] ,BOOM i made him hangup on me the second one i lost (crying)( but i made same voice) sounded like a [***] to me , the last one was a asian sounding lady they thought i would respond different to her damn it they won again i couldnt get her to hang up oh well , better luck next time , why would microsoft ever call me ???? yes it is a scam

When I said my dad passed away and we no longer have that Windows computer,  he said mother f%[]]rs and hung up.  Well stupid called back fifteen minutes later and I said to him,no sir your mother got f£¥|*%K last night by whole bunch of your Co workers...... PS they haven't called back in while...... Lol. Who's laughing now....idiot scammers...
