My brother-in-law just recently, in May 2016, got a letter, about the death of a relative he's never heard of, passing away, with no family. The company is now called Freedom Professional Inc. Their address is 322 E Main Street, Suite 200, Washington, Indiana 47834. The " accountant and independent underwriter's name" is now Mr. Hector Williams. Fax and telephone number as mentioned in other messages are the same! Big time scam!!

Allen Williams. ..2016/03/14 letter. ..another 3. 8 million. ..address and phone numbers the same  as you  all have reported. ..dang, I was going to retire! !!  Take care  and thanks for your research efforts.

Got a letter from Frank Williams saying an inheritance of 2.8million was waiting for us. Address was 101 NE 3rd Street, Washington, Indiana. Turns out to be the local police station. Things thatmake you go "hummmm?" And we live in Canada...

Company name was Citi Professional Inc.

Hi.  My husband also received a letter dated Sept. 12, 2016 for the same estate settlement scam.  They have changed the company name, now Citi Professional Inc. and the 'accountant' is now Frank Williams.  His pockets are not so deep as the rest of the Williams family, as this estate only left $2.8 million, hahaha!  PLEASE, don`t get taken in by these scams and warn everyone you know that these letters are circulating!  Must have gotten tired of people with caller id not answering their phones anymore.  This letter had a return address from Toronto.

My husband got a letter from Bernardo Williams for an inheritance from an unknown "relative" in the U.S.  The company is Wisdom Professional in Washington, Indiana -scam of course!

Just received a letter from Bernardo Williams claiming that I could "inherit" $2.8 million because a person with the same last name has died intestate.  Quite the scam.  I feel sorry for people who might not realize letters like this are definitely a scam.  Will report to my local police department.

My dad and I got the same letter... we live in BC (Canada)... they've changed a few details as of Oct 2016... now the "accountant and independent underwriter" is named Bernard Williams, company name is Wisdom Professional Inc (which is really damn close to an actual accountant firm) address is now 200 E Van Trees St, Suite 220 Washington Indiana 47501, telephone number 1-812-301-4242, Fax 1207-692-9606...

My Husband received the same letter as Connie Graham,with only the Telephone number appearing  to be slightly different 1-1812-610-1940,Fax:1-1207-692-9606. At first glance it seemed it could be true,but then it was:there is something not quite right here and i decided to check out  this "Wisdom Professional Inc".The rest is history so to speak............I will report to the Calgary Police,so they are aware.

I live in the Yukon, and got the same  long winded letter  as H. Caughell - signed off by Mr. Ben Williams.  I also, almost took it for real at first glance, but then realized it was a scam.   Had the same thing last spring from a scam artist using a Vancouver BC address.

Received the same letter as Connie Graham dated Oct 31 2016. Exact same address. Phone numbers are the same as H. Caughell. Too bad the guy has such poor grammar, It might have been more convincing!!

These low lifes are still at it. My elderly parents in Edmonton have just received a letter. Why can't these pathetic leeches be stopped? If the authorities can't find someone given phone numbers and multiple contact methods, they must be a joke at anti-terrorism.

I got one today a letter from Ben Williams 200 e van trees st suite 220 Washington Indiana 47501 tel 812-610-1940  email bernardowilliams@comsultant.com. sent to me in canada (widening the scam to abroad )... saying he was acting on behalf of  a relative - canadian who lived in the usa... [***]. Huge scam ...he picked on the wrong person as this is now reported to the police and royal mounted police as a scam... there is no such person in my family and his grammar and spelling was appalling.

I am in Alberta. I have just received a letter from Randy Williams saying he would like to use my name so I could "inherit" 2.8 million. Tell your friends so no one will get scammed.

Obviously, this is a scam letter and it's making the rounds again. I received the letter from Randy Williams supposely with Manulife in Washington, IN.

I received a letter from a Randy Williams who identifies himself as an accountant and an independent underwriter.
The letter was not written on any professional letter head and gave the address of 200 E Van Trees St. Washington IN.
a telephone number 1 812=565=5201 ext 1 also a fax 1207-692-9606 the heading on the letter is MANULIFE PROFESSIONAL INC. I googled the address and it shows up as HOME BUILDING and is some sort of bank with a UNITED WAY CHARITY.
This individual indicates he had a client that recently passed 2 yrs ago and is in hold of proceeds of $2.8 million U.S
and has searched for beneficiaries of his client with no success but because my name is exactly has his clients name he therefore feels that I could help him as an extended relative have the funds released to me before these said funds are reverted back to the Treasury Division as per the law when no beneficiary is found after 10 yrs.
I refuse to be duped by  this scam and have contacted the mayor of Washington IN in hopes that the Washington Police Department will  investigate. I do not live in the United States and given the recent cyber and text messaging scams that exist I feel it imperative that this individual (s) be apprehended.
