Yes, they are still trying, got a letter today. If anyone would believe this.... Look at the grammar... First indicator... Besides if it was real it likely would come registered. As a banker, we see this all the time.

I was mailed a letter from a Randy Williams from Washington ID with the phone number 8125655201 . He says I am entitled to 2.8 million dollars
This is a scam! Don't give in to this low life!

I got a very professional letter sent to my old address, that was forwarded to me, from Skygate Professional, Inc. My letter was professionally written, and sounded legitimate except for the fact that the person that was My long lost relative, bared the last name of my ex-husband. Same thing, I would inherit  2.8 million. It would be so easy to set up a sting operation on these people. Why don't the authorities organize and stop these thief's.

it's simple - just ask these clowns for a $1,000 retainer payment upfront for your help.
that will shut them up very quickly, if they can read properly.

Interesting to see all of the scam letter notes here. We received a letter dated Dec.5, 2016 from Skygate Professional Inc.. 200 E Van Trees St., Suite 220, Washington, in 47501.  We could see the "scam" as soon as we had read a few lines. But the poor grammar, etc. continued throughout the letter. The last line was interesting, which stated "This letter was mailed out to you while I was in Canada for official meetings." Right any legitimate firm would be carrying around letters to mail when they were travelling out of the country

We just got the bogus letter from Marcus Williams. They seem to like the last name Williams and it's always 2.8 million.  These people are scum of the earth!  From the other comments these scam artists are hitting on Canadians.

Got the same letter but using Jusin Williams but still 2.8 million.  Phone number and fax have changed and the company is now Justin Professional Inc

I received a letter from Marcus Williams, 200E Van Trees st. wanting to $2.8 million.  I wish he would, but will not be taken in by these scam artists.

Je viens de recevoir une lettre dont l'entete et l 'adresse parait dans la fenetre de l,enveloppe est: PO BOX 1000 MARKHAM, ONTARIO L3P 3N3. Le contenu est une lettre de la TD banque m'offre une carte de crédit . Je dois appeler le 1 866 827 85 14 pour l'activer.je trouve bizarre.
