I really resent all Telemarketing and Survey calls. This one came in as a Florida Call on my Caller ID. There was a barely understandable foreign woman wanting to ask me questions. If it is legit at least put a name on the Caller ID and have someone you can understand on their end. My number is on the Do Not Call list and Unlisted. I do report ALL repeated calls to the FCC. I keep a list of all numbers and the times they call for the FCC report. I have received quite a few responses by email and USPS mail that the FCC is investigating them and they have been fined.

I do not pay to keep a telephone to be harassed by persons and companys that I have no wish or need to talk to. If I need something, I research and buy form someone I contact not a cold call from Joe Blow. So what they might send you $5-$30. My time and peace and quiet is worth more than that. There are so many telephone scams around that I don't care if the call is legit or not. They should stop calling when you tell them to.

I saw in my caller ID, called back but said no longer available, a Hewlett Packard number

This number is from the Nielson TV Ratings company.

I feel really sorry for all the people who gave grief to the person on the other end of the line, because if you wouldn't have been a dick and let them finish telling what this was about, you would have learned they were trying to GIVE you $30, only for keeping a journal of your TV watching habits for a week.

This is becoming annoying (yes, I'm trying to be polite), borderline harrasement, but you would think we could all gang up on them and try returning the favor. They call my # about 4-5 times/week and don't leave message. Don't people/companies have anything better to do. Arrgggg.

Well, keep on feeling sorry for all us dicks out there buddy. I'll give you $30 if you need it that bad.

This is real- I filled out a little packet, and sent it in, and now they wanted to to be part of national ratings. No need to worry, they pay you as well.

How do I STOP these calls!!!

I called the 1-800-237-8611 line and asked them to remove me from the caller list. I was polite :P
Since then, no more calls. It's been about a month or so now, with no calls from them.

Everything went ok with this call, until they started asking about recent doctor visits!!!! None of
their business.  I only put up with the call to complain about ABC's recent programing changes.  Now
I can't imagine how medical stuff is ANY of their business.

Oh, I forgot to mention, I slammed the phone the second after the questions about recent doctor
visits.  Live and learn...

called 3 times on sunday. not supposed to do that in this state. assume its an outsider scam who dont know rules.

they call several times a day from 8 am to 10pm.  I am on the do not call list.  annoying!

If so, why will they NOT leave a message to that effect? I took the survey 2 months ago. Why wait THIS long to affirm it? And, only calling on a SUNDAY, before 9 pm? FISHY!!!

OK, then why only call me on SUNDAY, before 9 PM? And... NOT leave a message? I would answer the phone if any of this is LEGITIMATE. I gladly took the survey sent to me TWO months ago and LOVE watching TV.

I have read the other logs.. Thanks for letting me know who this is very annoying.. It is like a boyfriend/girlfriend who won't leave you alone..

Got a call that i didn't answer at 10:10 pm. Marketing calls are supposed to stop at 9pm.

I received a Nielsen Survey in the mail about our TV habits. Filled it out. They paid $3 upfront in cash.

They have been calling, I thought it was a telemarketer, but I answered and it was Nielsen. They are mailing $30 and television booklets for us to fill out for a week. Free money! I'm game.

Just answer the call. They are legit. And they pay you cash!
