A call was placed to a Santa Clara County Employee and was reported to me.
The lastest phone # they are using is a New York City (New York, NY)
(646) 810-8666 (Wednesday, Jan 13, 2009)
****There is no business listing******
**There is no corporation listed as ACS or Affidavit Consolidated Services**
The caller "Eric" claimed to be calling from the "Legal Dept."
You should use the following complaint form and file a complaint with the Attorney General's Office of the State of New York - if you receive a call from this number - as this number originates from New York, NY.
<http://www.ag.ny.gov/bureaus/organized_crime/OCTF_complaint_form.pdf>
If you receive a similar call from another number - call information (your area code) 555-1212 and as for a listing, if they have a listing write down that information. Ask the operator for a reverse listing, if the number is listed ask if there's an address, and make a note of that information. Regardless of whether the telephone # is listed or not, the operator can tell you what City and State the call originates from. Whereever the call originates, whatever State they happen to be calling from; contact the Attorney General of that State and file a complaint.

Unlike "Eric" I really do work in a law office and we're registered with the California Secretary of State, as are all legitimate law firms. And unlike "Affidavit Consolidated Services" our telephone numbers are listed.
Because "Affidavit Consolidated Services" is not a legitimate business and the address they gave is 123 Springfield Ln, New York, Ny which is a patch of vacant field with 2 tire marks off the side of the road (Google maps street view), there's nothing to stop these people, because they are already on the lam, and operating outside the purview of our laws.
I just called again, and I get another story:
There new name of their business is:
National Affivdavit Corp.
101 E. Green Street
Ithaca, Ny
The person I spoke to said the owner of the company is:
Sam Fernandez

FRAUD ALERT - JennieI had just got a call from some Christina Barker saying I owe $300.00. She called my work and cell. I got a previous call in December and spoke to the supervisor who kept saying the call was being recorded and they are putting charges against me!!! He asked me to give him a card number but I was like I dont know who you are and what this is about. The guy started getting rude and loud with me. I told him to fax the information over so I can see who they were and he wouldn't. These people need to be stopped because someone is going to fall for it and give all their information. Where did they get this information from??

- JEHI got several calls from this number 524-973-47 and 052-497-347. The guy then leaves a voice mail/ saying he is calling from ACS. There is a judgement against me and Soc Sec # to call him back at 813-283-0124. I did once could barely understand him. One day his name is Mike Johnson next time his name is Steve Johnson. Heavy Indian accent. I told him to sue me. If he wanted to talk to my called the FBI or Attorney General. This guy was very rude. Told the only that would save me was God. And then told me to go to hell but, have a nice day. Now I do not even answer calls. I did call Soc. Ser Office, Attorney General, FTC. They all say same thing tell these people nothing. Good luck to anyone who receives these calls.

- JANE DOEI just got call from a 'James Carter' with an Indian accent saying that I have three accounts that I will have to pay or they will contact two people that I do know!! I don't know how they got my information but I did trace the number he left on my voice mail 3476024546 and I got a lot of hits about fraudulent activities. He stated that he is from an Affidavit Consolidation Service. I knew something was wrong when people who put a complaint on the web is have the same problem. Well I just had a whole bunch of my friends call the number to mess with them and now all of the sudden the number is busy!!

- Jane DoeReceived a call from James Hopes claiming to be from Affidavit Consolidation Services (ACS) and stating that they going to sue me because I owe money. I told him that I don't know what he is talking about and asked what company was he calling from. With a very thick indian accent he says ACS and I told him that since I don't know what he is talking the conversation is over. So then I looked the name up on the internet and found several sites like this one. The number that they're using now is (347)289-3120.

- Shell0915 replies to Miss MI have had numerous calls from most of the numbers listed throughout these pages of posts. The calls started a few weeks ago, all claiming the same thing...that I had an unpaid payday loan and offering to settle if I gave them a check or debit card over the phone to stop further action against me; citing that I would go to jail, lose my home, car, etc. if I did not pay.. They become abusive, threatening, yelling and cursing if you are resistant to them in any way. I have reported them to the Attorney General's Office (in Florida), the Federal Trade Commission (nationwide) and the Office of Financial Regulations (nationwide). Here are the numbers to call to make your report: Fraud Hotline: 1-866-966-7226, Federal Trade Commission: 1-877-382-4357, Office of Financial Regulations: 1-800-848-3792. The only way to stop it is for enough people to make a complaint. Most states also have an online complaint form on the attorney general website for your state. The federal #'s listed above are a great way to go because it covers the United States as a whole. Don't give out ANY information at all! Don't even confirm your name! Good luck!
- Ms E replies to John DoeI've been called by these people today and the number used is 714-497-4594 and names like Sam Brown and Sam Peterson and they wouldn't give me an address. Is there anything that can be done to stop these people
- Jon JonI just received a call like this. I gave them no infomration and recommend the same. Give them nothing. I explained to them that the call may be monitored and recorded for support reasons, and they were quick to stop talking. I asked for everythign to be sent to me, and they asked for a fax number (which I did nto supply). They are not goign to be around long. Someone is going to get very upset find out where they are and settle it once and for all.
The number they used was and 813 number - Linda Gail replies to John Doe| 1 replyHere is 2 new names and phone numbers:
813-319-2653 Kevin McClane
646-727-4437 Logan Hunt

- April BallgeI have been recieving these calls from the phone number 1-212-372-7274. He says his name is Alex Stewart. He has a very thick indian accent and it is very difficult to understand him. He has threatened me, hung up on me, yelled and even got his supervisor to yell at me. I asked for some hard evidence in writing and all they will do is send a copy of what doesn't even look legal to my e-mail. They state the name of their company as Affidavit Consolidation Services. I looked it up online and got a whole lot of the same complaints. I am looking into sueing them for harrasment as well. If anyone lives in Washington state, King county, please let me know. My e-mail address is aprilhinrichs@yahoo.com. Thanks!

- Tammy WynetteReceived a call from a man with a heavy Indian accent, Michael Stevens from Affidavit Consolidation Services and said they are putting out 3 charges against my social security number and I'm being investigated.
When he started to explain the circumstances, I recognized the exact same call I had received months before. These people get very nasty and should be reported every time they call. Last time they said their office was actually located in the Superior Court building in New York City, New York. I took the time to call the Superior Court in NYC and found out all the information was bogus. At that time, I reported them to every institution I could including sending a letter to the New York State Attorney General.
Do not, I repeat, DO NOT send these people any of your hard-earned money. They will tell you that you got a loan from an internet loan company that was deposited into your bank account. GET PROOF that it was or was not deposited. Most likely it was not. Report them to every local law agency and to law agency's where they state they are calling from. They are actually calling from India with "canned numbers" so that when we return the call it looks like we are calling American numbers.- Caller: Affidavit Consolidation Services "Allegedly"

- Rebecca replies to JanieRight on! The creep actually starting talking to my daughter (who is 15, but he thought she was 12 - either way, it was wrong) about his "CO_K". ([***]). I was shocked! I want a piece of that [***] in the worst way. Why are they still able to do this? Did you report them?
- tracyI have been receiving phone calls from Alex Anderson and several "others" for months now. I've done my research on these people so I am prepared anytime they call. In the past they have been really nasty, threatening and rude but they couldn't rattle me. I called them on everything. When they told me the cops would be here to arrest me in an hour I said ok I'll put my best dress and dancing shoes on and be waiting. After 3 hours of course nobody showed so I called them back inquiring why nobody showed up and I thought it was really rude to keep me waiting. Alex didn't find it very funny and hung up on me. 3 weeks later he is calling again. When I called him on it he told me and I quote "oh there is a scam going around where someone is using my name and number to collect a debt, don't fall for it but this is the real Alex Anderson calling" I laughed so hard I was crying. Do these people really think we American's are really that stupid. I'm actually enjoying the "little game now" because it has cut down on the amount of phone calls I get. I'm hoping sooner or later they will just stop.

- Linds replies to John DoeBeen harrassed by them recently since I filed a bankruptcy case. They told me that I owed 3 different payday loan companies but could not answer why it was not showing up with my lawyer on my credit. They would not tell me the name of the companies they were working for and I had to press to get the name of their company. When I asked for his name and direct number he said he was "Jeff Williams" (in a thick Indian accent!) The number they gave me was 347-844-6831. I asked my lawyer to check into it and he informed me they were a scam. Do NOT give them any information!

- mindysueI got a phone call too from 813-434-4611. First his name was Wendell Watson, then when I called him back he was John. I turned the tables and called him repeatedly back to back and asked him how it felt, he threatened to give my phone number to everyone of his associates and that he would have them calling me day and night. I told him to go ahead because I called with *67 and then I never told him my name. He hung up on me.
When they first called they stated that they were trying to sue me for 5000.00. And gave me the name of a payday loan. I did verify with that payday company that I did not have a loan out with them and they stated that this is a scam. the 813 number is in Florida, but I had also gotten a call from a New York number as well.- Caller: ACS
