Thanks to all of you for saving a Grandma from this con game. Yes, I advertised a rental house on Craigslist & had the same thing happen. Albert Keane wanted house to rent & would send money to me. He worked for Wessex Survey & Design LTD U.K. Contact company here was Black & Veatch engineering.  Telephone 832-615-1294.
I have another Craigslist e-mail reply with similar setup, but different name & number. Jeremy Adams being transferred here to work for global link from U.K. Wants to send me rent money & lease now & even wants me to take listing off craigslist now. His phone number is 0044-7522309573.
            I am so glad I found this site before I folllowed thru with deal.

I got the same emails to rent my place. He changed his name. He ahs been used different name.

Now, he's calling himself Paul Long, an engineer trying to rent in the US.  I'm thankful I found your links.  Still using David Richards as his financier with the number 206-309-7223.  I didn't bother calling once I saw these emails.

Parker Philedelphus is a real charm. Tried the same scam with his "precious family" rental routine until I googled him and lo and behold it WAS none other than THE Parker Philedelphus.

Got the exact same emails from this "Parker Philedelphus" and googled him after his request to "pay for the furniture in advance." Just got this email from him:

"How are you today? Be on a look out for the payment check unfailingly
by next week and do get back to me Immediatly you received it so that
I will Instruct you how you will make arrangement with my furniture
company. Thanks so much for you cooperation and I promise to compesate
you adequately on my arrival to the state."

He is probably running so many scams that he doesn't remember he was supposed to arrive at our apartment *last week* with his family...

Can you believe this! This is his latest scam, new phone number and a new name, but the same crap. Thank you for this wonderful website to keep us informed on scam artists!

Posted  a job in Cincinnati about hiring a personal chef.  This guy is a [***]. Wanted my address and phone number.

I am so glad, that I looked this up! He used another name with me and it was about a nanny position for his two children. Who would send his kids to a person he does not know and to their house. He claims he works for Wessex Survey & Design and uses the same phone number and same refference! How sick can people be?!

I responded to an ad at Craigslist about being a babysitter. This guy who calls himself Mr. Goppal Dan responded, giving the same phone #, company, etc. stated above. He's offering me $700 a week for taking care of "his 2 children" while he's here in the US. He was asking for my info like my full name, address and phone #. I didn't give such info. Instead I asked for more info about "his stay here for 1 year". Then I researched about the Wessex company and this website popped up.

Thank you. Almost turned a more stable job offer down for this.

We just had the same issue.  Parker Philadelphus.  Exact same wording.  The incorrect grammar had me questioning, so I googled it.  My husband had done the same as some of you above.  He emailed and got a quick response.  As I have a brother from England, who is an engineer, I began to get suspcious at his spelling, grammar and the precious family BS!  Thank God for Google.
