Same deal with my rental property listed on Craigslist. He even is asking for room dimensions for his furniture rental company. He is using the name Robin Rady. EVERYBODY...please continue reporting this scam to as many sites as possible before an innocent victim gets hurt.

Apparently this man has posted on Craigslist here in Chicago.  This time his name is Trevor Hightower, looking for a Nanny/Babysitter.  I had an extensive response from him after having forwarded my childcare resume to his attention this morning.  His response was too good to be true, sounded a bit fishy ... I did a search online, and wound up (thankfully!) on this website.  Beware everyone!

This is another in this series as they tried to scam us on our Las Vegas rental. Fortunately, being desperate for a tenant has yet to make us drop our guard. Following you will find the scam letter:

Then I google the company's name, which is also Wessex Survey & Design Ltd UK, and I found this website. Thanks everyone! Hope one more person will be taken in by the scam. By the way this time he called himself Engr Robbison Cammara, and phone number he provided is 447031966628.

Wow, good thing my mom always taught me if it sounds too good to be true it probably is!! He has changed his named in the past few days however, he is now going by Ronald Watson, but same story as above posting for the nanny position! How dare this man imply that he had a bad experience with someone in the UK! What is he trying to do to us? I am turning this over to my local police agency and also the local news station, hopefully he wint continue doing this, he has obviously been able to get over on someone using this or he wouldn't keep doing it! I have terrible credit tho and he never made any mention of me having to send any money elsewhere so he wouldn't have gotten anywhere with me I'm just glad I was smart enough from the begining not to give my full name or send a resume!! My sole  financier that is based in the States  will be handling the rent deposit payment on my behalf, I will instruct him to send you a Certified Check for this as soon as you give me the go ahead to make out payment to you. Due to the limited time that we have before our arrival, we are making arrangements with a furniture company to supply the home with furnitures,so we will need you to provide us with the the following:
 
# Measurements of the living room and bedroom.
 
# Picture viewing the living room and the bed room(s).
 
# As regards the lease agreement and application, I want you to send it to me for my review. I will eventually have it filled and signed on my arrival in your place as I am of the opinion that such documents are best filled and signed physically by appending signatory at best physical. We can start the lease by asap and I will be doing a one year lease. You can prepare the lease in my name.

I will be doing a one year lease for it and i want to know the necessary requirements for renting it.

Kindly let me know what the Monthly Fees, Security deposit and the Electricity/Utility bills are.The reason am enquiring about the house is because i will be doing a one year engineering project while in the state and i need a place to stay.
