Got 8 calls in 2 hours...then got 12 more calls 2 hours later... Can someone post how to block this number on the DNC list?
Looks like this has been going on for 5 years!

You do have to set your phone up. I had to do it for my ex boyfriend when he was in jail.

Absolutely no idea who would be calling me from there

this is a credit card SCAM.  It's not really a County Jail.  They want you to enter a debit or credit card to let the "inmate" call you!  I have no friends or family in the County Jail.  I blocked the call.

I received a call from this number and not know who or why I got this call

Who is calling me

It is from a jail, but it isn't necessarily from a friend or relative.  We have received several and they were from people we never heard of.

This call says it is a number used for inmates at county jails, but it isn't always the same one...often not even the same state, so it's a "shared number".  We don't know anyone in the area this one was supposedly located.

Try the free PrivacyStar App and it will catch most numbers that aren't legit.  If they don't already have it flagged as telemarketer or whatever, you can send them a report through the app so they add it to the list and block it.

This number has called our emergency line between 7:42 pm and 8:00 pm the last two nights.  the recording says it is a collect call from an inmate.  This phone number is for Opp Veterinary Hospital's emergency use only.  It is intended for clients to be able to reach us in case of an emergency with their pet.  We would like to know who is calling this number.

I need to know who could be calling dont have noone who is incarcerated

I've received about 10 calls from this number in the past month.  You can't understand who the "inmate" is (some jumbled name is stated).  I've blocked the number so it doesn't ring through but it still goes to voicemail.  It's very annoying.

This number call at strange times and leaves text messages with a really creepy, threatening emoji. We had the number blocked.

Had a voice mail message that said I needed to set up an account for calls.  Have no idea who is an inmate that would try to call or where from

Called me 3 times. I did not pick it up because didn't know who it was.
