I solved the problem by purchasing a Panosonic phone that has a fabulous call block feature.  Simply program the numbers you do not want to hear from and when they call you the phone automatically answers the call gives them a fast busy signal and then disconnects them!  Say Bye bye to harassing calls, YIPPY!  Works like a charm.  I love it.  This phone also talks and says who is calling so you do not even have to get out of your chair.

They just change their name from ARC (account recovery corporation) to ARO but it is still same annoying scam collection agency. DO NOT PAY ANYTHING as they have purchased list of settled cases from other scam artist. Someone was asking "who to contact to report harassment?" Your local police precinct can stop this harassment!

I don't know the name of the company that called. My daughter answered (25). She thought he said his name was Naseer. He said she had a drunk and disorderly charge from 2007 that was outstanding. She said that it was amazing that she hadn't heard about this in 5 years. And yes, she did have one years ago, but it was paid. He asked for a credit card to clear this up. She asked for a reference number, because if there's a charge, there's a number. He didn't have one. She said, we'll I'll go down to the court house tomorrow and see about this. He said, oh you don't want to stand in line, just give me your credit card. She said she didn't have one. He said, do you do online banking. You could transfer it. She said no. I'll go to the courthouse, do you have the address? She thought, if he's really got the charge in front of him, it should have the courthouse on the document. She said, then she could hear him typing, as if Googling it. She said never mind, I'll find it and said goodbye. How many people would just give their credit card number and not check? Scary.

All Debt Collection agencies are frauds. There is no such thing as a reputable one unless you are referring to corporate crime.

To absolutely crush and 3rd party interloping you must first buy a voice recorder. Then when they call before you give anything Demand First and Last name spelled, bond number and name of insuring company. They will never give it to you you hang up. You do this every time build evidence and place a $80 lien for $200,000.00 for your time.

I have received numerous calls from Aro at 18665637673....... They are open Monday through Thursday. that's all I know.

Anyone with an Android Phone, please just download the "Calls Blacklist" app, and block the number of any collector as soon as they call.  Problem solved and peace of mind. :)

They keep calling me, as well as my WORK now. I called the b**ch back she asked what my work phone number was and I told her that she alresdy f**king has it I'm not giving it to her and she needs to stop calling my work that's harassment.  This b**ch is going to get me fired they call 3-4 times a day at my work.  She said if I don't settle this now she will keep calling I told her like f**k she is.

get calls from these people daily for my ex-husband even though I told them thruthfully he passed away 7 years ago after being separated from me for 5 yrs prior so A) they cannot reach him no matter how many calls they make and B) he was separated from me and living elsewhere prior to whatever debt he incurred (think it is the 407).  they just keep calling anyways

Also using numbers 289-789-1107 , 289-789-1108, 289-789-1109 and now 866-667-3307. They keep calling multiple times per day using numbers indicated for the last month.  They never respond when answer. I have finally blocked all these numbers.

Collection agency that have been calling every single damn day for months. It may be something for ny son who has left home but to be honest they call from that many different numbers I've lost track. When I read online you can block numbers with a Panasonic phone I actually got excited. All my home phones are Panasonic. They called me today at 7.36am 7.41am and 7.48am each from a different number.
Very annoying. Really pleasant to wake up to that after working late hours last night.

1-866-667-3307 calls 3 times a day and more, they not live message and if that collection agency they never send me letter for what they want and if i need to pay theme. Please that need to stop they start to call at 7 o'clock an morning and stop to call at 8 h o'clock pm.
