STOP CALLING

They called me on my cell phone... Whenever I see an 800 # of such, I always pick up and hang up right away. That seemed to have worked. They haven't call back since.

I CALLED THIS COMPANY AND THE LADY ANSWERED SAYING "GOLD LINE INC."  SHE STATED SHE WORKS TO REPAIR CREDIT.  AS I SAID NO, SHE SAID SHE SELLS ELECTRONICS INSTEAD AND IF I WAS INTERESETED IN BUYING A DVD PLAYER.  DONT CALL THIS NUMBER BACK, ITS A SCAM FOR SURE.

I get this phone call every day at least 6-10 times a day

yeah this number has called me a couple times in one day and finally i answered, they said they were refered by someone who tried to issue me credit. the girl then proceded to try and ask me some questions and then i was like who are you, who told you to call me, who denied me credit, and she got very flustered and stubled over herself so i felt like i was getting the upper hand of the conversation, and then the damn phone went dead! people should not be employed to make others' lives this damn stressfull

I know the way to get these people to never call back!

You ask to speak to a supervisor, after they say who they are. If you get one on the line, you tell them that you have had repeated calls from this number/company, whichever, and you then tell that supervisor that you want them to add your name and number to that company's "Do not call list".

For those of you that have added your name to the "National Do Not Call List", you still have the possibility of getting calls from the companies that you do business with... Because it is a business relationship.

But if for example, you get a call from a company that you don't do business with and your name is on the "N.D.N.C.L.", then it is illegal for that company to call you and they shouldn't be in the first place.

But like I said before, talk to a supe, tell them to put you on that company's 'd.n.c.l.' and it should be taken care of from that point.

!!!!!ALSO!!!!! It may take up to a couple of weeks for that to be processed, because that company has different sites with different lists that might have your name on it, so you might be called back a few times after that. Or you might not.

But, if it's the same company for like a couple of months after you made the request, it may be possible to sue the company for harrasment. Also, if the 'TSR' does not immediately give you that company's "Do Not Call' response, that site can also be fined anywhere from I think $1K up to 5 or 25K dollars... I don't remember exactly... But the site can be fined and that employee can be fired, and the site itself could even be shut down. So hopefully if you answer the phone with that number, hopefully you get a decent person instead of some [***]...

The reason that I know all this is beacuse I was a telemarketer for close to 3 years. Go me.

My minor child has a Cell phone and this number started popping up on his caller id about 2 weeks ago and when he answered his phone last week they had the nerve to talk to him like he was an adult and even try to get him to give identifying information. I've looked up on the Better Business Bureau and the company is  US Gold Line, LLC, 10500 Ulmerton Rd Ste. 726-306, Largo, Fl 33771.  Type of Business Credit Cards & Plans.  This information is for everywhere one out here who is being STALKED by this company.

I keep getting calls from this number EVERY freakin' day and frankly, I am SICK of it! I DO NOT RESPOND because it is my cell phone and I don't want any charges to my phone for ever responding. A message is NEVER left by them, which tells me that they are nerve-wracking telemarketers of some kind. After reading previous posts, apparently it is tied to financial instutitions some kind of way. Apparently they buy numbers from these various companies, and THAT sickens me!! Companies that practice this always strike me as very, very shady!!!!!

I am getting calls from this number from last few days. I am sick of it. I don't pick the phone but it is very annoying. Can someone help? I fear if someone is using my phone or spying on me.

They called me 7 times today and I don't how many times yesteday. I am totally fed up w/ the situation.

They just called for the 10th time. I actually picked up this time just to see what they would say and yell at them for annoying me. When I said "hello" in a stern voice, the guy almost got scared and hung up. Then he said my name as if he knew me.  I told him that I was fed up with the calls, to stop, and that I didn't know him. Finally, I said that if they keep calling, I'm going to report them to the government (do not call list).  Let's see what happens.  

Also- Thanks to Patricia who posted on Jan. 30th w/ the info on this lame-o company. I'm going to write them to complain about the harrassment and will also send a copy of the letter to the Better Business Bureau and Federal Trade commission (re: do not call list).  

If enough of us report them, maybe something can be done.

FYI, I just filed a complaint online with the Better Business Bureau. It's really easy. Just go to www.bbb.com, look for the link to file a complaint, fill in the company's telephone # (you know, the same annoying number that keeps showing up on your phone - 866-710-8746), and then you'll be transferred to the Better Business Bureau Clearwater Florida website where you'll provide the details of the complaint (like how many times a day they harrass you, etc.).

Every complaint counts, so please take action.

this number has been calling me for the past 3 days, two and three times a day, early in the a.m and about the time I go to bed at night.

this is a scam and they need  to be exposed as such so everyone can be aware don't give in to them and thier bogus stories call your local authorities and have them investigated

Yeah, pretty annoying when they don't answer you. I get these phone calls twice a day. Maybe they get a kick out of it. They don't talk, they only dial. It is highly perturbing and very immature.

called me and they hung up on me. i wont call the back cause then theyll have a resone to mess with you.

i finally called these guys after be ing called ten times in one hour.  I got a hold of then and ask them to remove my number and not to call any more or i will seek legall advice and they told me they would do it right away. So lets see if they do

Continue to call my cell phone also.  WHen I try to call back, I get "all circuits are busy)
