866-941-6003

I received a call from 866-941-6003 on 02/10/10 claiming to be a collect call supposedly from a "friend" in the county jail. The name of the friend was unintelligible. Being very suspicious, as nobody I know had been arrested, I simply hung up. Based on other comments here I'd confidently say this is a total scam. This is disturbing since my own # is on all the do-not-call lists. Plus, how can you tell whether a similar call might be from a real friend who needs your help? Despicable!

Someones calling fom a correctional Facility / Jail.
They have no "free" phones in jail, this is a service they must use.

Just got this call tonight saying "Michael it's an emergency" from supposedly the county jail.

I just received a call from this # as well. It was the standard pre-recorded message followed by a male voice which was unintelligible.I hung up and hopefully won't be bothered by this # again in the future.

i got a call from this number and i heard my brother in law's name im worried because he had already been let on of jail and now i get this call....

automated phone message regarding a correctional facility.  Asking for money for "loved ones" in jail via setting up an account.

Got a call from this number. They left a voice mail to hit #1 if I wanted to accept and #2 if I wanted to be removed from their calling list. I am on the National Do Not Call List. I have no idea who they are or how they got my number.

i got the same call but it was on magic jack phone number which is no longer good but i am still getting messages in my email and this number showed up 8669416003 left a 18 min recording just hang up no one new our number so it is a scam

i just got three calls from this number......did any one who actually got the call have someone in jail? i didnt trust it so i didnt answer it im from fresno....jst another scam i think! hope no one went to jail today and is casllin me for help!

i got the call at 1:28. i didnt know who it was n i didnt hear amything but some leady talking n as soon as i looked at the number again it hanged up. so i call back it it was asking me all kind's of question's about money.

Got this call on my cell phone.  Pisses me off and I wish them (whoever it is) to drop dead.  yep I said it.

I just received a call from (866) 941-6003. I thought it was a credit card so I let is go to voice mail. The message only said if you wish to accept press one. After seeing the above I realize it was probable my brother calling because he was put in jail today. He was detained in the Lakeway area near Austin. So this number is used for all over the states I see.

I recieved a call from this number and thought it was my friend playing tricks on me! guess not... I do live in florida though!

I received several calls which I missed from (866) 941-6003 so, I called back and got a recording for "Correctional Billing Services" and in that I have had no dealings that would involve any collections, I became suspicious of a phishing expedition and proceeded to check for scams and found this site.

My boyfriend is in jail how do i answer to talk to him
