- justjules replies to LPDo not send them any bank statements or anything. hang up. in order for anyone to garnish your wages it has to go to court and only a judge can put a garnishment on your wages, and that is after all efforts have been exhausted, you would have had to have gone to court several times, agreed on payment plan, and then defaulted before a wage garnishment would ever happen. just ignore all of it. besides, in most states the payday loans are illegal anyway.
you would get a written statement from the court stating when the garnishment will go into effect. if you have never received that statement, there is no wage garnishment. just ignore these people. once i had one of them on the line and told them i know this is a scam, and the guy said so what. so what? i said has anyone ever fallen for this and actually sent money? he said sometimes.
idiot. - JMi didnt even know they had my job number.! im sick of it.!

- TeriA message was left on my work phone from 877-601-5871 (Ms. Foster) x 248 that they were going to garnish my wages for some payday loan. I have not called the number back. After reading all of the above, I know now that they are a SCAM company. However, they have violated the FCDPA Laws by leaving a very detailed message on my work voicemail. Why can't they catch these companies and make them pay for violation and harrasement?

- LilyI see it's been a while since the last post here, well I just got a call at work, 630-486-1900 with the ID of PDL. The woman, Mrs Hardy left a message to call back at 877-601-5871, company name CAE. These people are relentless. I don't owe on any back loans, so if/when she tries to call again, I'll just ask for the Debt Validation letter to be sent, certified, and let her know that I'll be reporting them.

- SosadJust got a call stating that I had a unpaid payday loan wanted to settle it for 1200.00. Said they had a wage garnishment but could not send me a copy because everything was done electronically.
She offered me a repayment plan which I refused and told her that if she would not send me a copy then I could not accept her offer.
I told her that I had been scammed before and would not fall for this trick again and that I was looking at that number she gave me and several people had filed a complaint againt her company.
Please people let's stand together and refuse to pay these scammers, they will continue to call but unless they can send you something in writing do not send them a penny.- Caller: PDLR

- dsh replies to kim dennieI got calls on my work line from this number. I did call back, request debt validation (there is none) and let them know I was going to report to state attorney general. Be more than happy to meet them at Court House as they have violated several laws.
Get nasty with them, let them know you will report them, they will go away. - cogurl replies to SickOfBS| 1 replyWOW...it appears you are the ONLY one that had a valid debt with them. This is indeed a scam and I spoke to someone with the FBI who informed me that they are working to take this down. Looks like you are the dumbass now!
- Jesica Neely| 1 replyMy name is Jessica Neely,
I have come to find out that no one is doing anything about this, so i am trying to find out how
these people are getting the info and numbers of the people they are calling. any info u can help me with
would be helpful no matter now little it is. I am a computer tec by trad my email is
sheri_anuen@msn.com or u can also find me on facebook under Jessica Neely i am from farmington new hampshire. I will be sure to update on any info i find.- Call type: Debt collector
- ThinkAboutIt replies to Jesica NeelyIt starts with companies who robocall people then hang up without leaving a message, in order to get return calls. If someone calls back, their number is saved to an active list that is sold to a clearing house then sold to telemarketers. Cellphone numbers are also uploaded to a computer program called an SMS blaster. The telemarketer can choose which area he wants to target and all of the cellphone numbers will be installed on his program for him. Then he copies and pastes his ad onto the computer screen, clicks Send, and it goes out to all of the numbers at once without dialing a single one.
I think it's a better idea to leave messages here than to send emails-if you don't know me, then you can't whitelist my message, so it could end up on your spam page instead of your inbox. It's also potentially unsafe to email strangers (no offense). Speaking of safety, it's not a good idea to post your email address here-this is a global site, and someone could misuse the information.
Good luck-hope that was helpful. - TLynn replies to cogurlI couldn't agree with you more. A complete dumbass. I called them back - told them quite bluntly that I owe no payday loan company and have been dealing with these scams for over 2 years. I told her in a very nice way that unless they could validate the debt then to leave me alone. I also informed her of the laws of Pennsylvania concerning garnishment. I pay my bills. I filled out an application for a loan on line back then and ever since then I have been victimized by these [***]. I am tired of the [***]. These people who are trying to scam the people who write on these blogs need to find a real job. I cannot believe they can even look at themselves in the mirror. Pathetic.
- unknown replies to SickOfBSYou paid $300 and got scammed. I also get call and I never received a pay day loan. I have a good job and I fortunate enough to be able to pay my bills and I am the victim of identity theft. Think before you speak!!
