Yep I got called from them yesterday and they said I owed $1200 but would settle for $300. When I told them I had never taken a payday loan she said if I didnt pay they would move forward in garnishing my wages and suspending my drivers license. Yesterday Mrs. Scott as she called herself had my SSN, drivers license number, bank account and routing numbers which that account is closed. Today she called again and left a message saying I needed to call her back to straighten this out and that there was a possibility that my lincense would be suspended but yesterday it would be suspended. My fiancee then called and spoke to her and was told that they could not send me a letter showing me I owed the debt or a letter showing they were a legit company. She then said that another company had taken this matter over. This company used to work under EAW now is using Payday Loan recovery and now what? I have spoken to the attorney generals office and will be filing a report. As Mrs. Scott told me, "have a good day and good luck"

I received a message at my work saying I needed to call back about a loan that was never paid back.  When I called back I got the same "song and dance" as others have reported here.  They had all my information - SS#, bank account, address, etc.  Don't validate any information they have and don't return the call.  What low life pond scum!

I got a call from Mrs. Gilmore from this number saying they were going to garnish my pay for a pay day loan that i never had....they had all my information and I have proof from my bank that there was never a pay day loan deposited into my account.

Ms Riley from Loan Recovery Group called from 1877-601-5871 ext 259 stating that we owed an online loan from May 8, 2011. I  explained to her that we never got a loan from the company she mentioned(cash advance).  She said my driver,s license would be taken.  And then said she would send the debt back to the company.

I got a call at work yesterday form 877-601-5871 ext 233 saying that I owe $300 to cash advance. It was a lady who called first then she put Mr. Garza on the phone saying that I needed to take care of this debt from 2010. This loan company has no record of me owing them anything, that I have been paid in full since 2008. So where is this coming from. This scares me.

wow.. i just got a call from a ms. cartwright.. about a so called payday loan.. and i was like wtf i have not opened any payday loans.. and if anything.. i would open a loan at a bank... and so that freaked me out!!!!  Which I'm going to contact my bank again.. and let them know about this scam!!!!!  so once I have read all of the post on this page.. i was like OMG!!!  WTH is going on!!!!! she made me panic!!!!!  I will most def contact my bank right now.. to let them know if they get anything from any place for withdrawals or anything out of the "norm" to pls contact me asap!!!!!

got a call from a Ms Gramme in reference to a payday loan. That I took over 3 years ago. That this has been in collections for a year. Didnt sound convincing enough from PDLR Group but when i googled this name it says its a scam. WTF!!!!

They have been calling me today threating to garish my wages and if I did not pay by 5:00pm
I would owe 1,098.00.  The number is 1-877-601-5871.  They know my bank account and social
security number.  They say they represent another company but will not tell me anything about it
or who they are and were very rude.

Just got a call at work from Ms. Cartright at X256.  When I gave them the ref. number
she had a totally different name than mine.  I told her she had the wrong
person and she said ok.  I've gotten these types of calls before regarding
unpaid cash loans, driver's license suspension, telling me they feel sorry
for me if I don't make things right.  I'm so sick of this scam. Now I have a
message on my cell phone to call her and it's from a totally different number.

Received message stating 25% of my check would be garnished due to unpaid loan. Let an account number associated with this matter.  I called back and informed them this matter had been turned over to my attorney who will be handling this matter from this point on.

I got the same call now they are listed under PDLR. I reported them to attorney general FTC and FBI

I just got a call from this number from 630-486-1900 saying that I owed for a payday loan and was supposed to settle for $500.  But they would ot send me any information.  These people have called before, several months back and I did not do anything.  This time it was a Mrs. Foster.  I called she has gone and nobody else can help me and give me any information.  They told me to call 1-877-601-5871.  They said that they would garnish my wages for $2300, 50% is interest.  This is scary that they can call and try to scare the hell out of you about your hard earned money.

Just received a call from 630-486-1900. He said his name was Brian Westbrook & that a wage garnishment would be issued & my drivers license suspended if I didnt call.  I have not called back. I believe this is yet another scam from someone claiming I had a payday loan back in 2010, which I DID NOT!!!! I have reported other calls to my states attorney general and the FBI. Im glad to see Im not the only one. How do these places get our information.

I got a call from a Mrs. Leoperd from payday loan recovery group, LLC stating that I owed money to Adavance Payday Plus and United Cash Advance. I stated to her that I had never heard of these companies. She claimed that they were a sister company to another one. I called the debt company that I am working with and they said the companies I owed money to and they were working with had other agencies not these companies. I even called one company and they said that these two companies were different payday loan companies and that they were not associated with them. This lady even called my work. I was not happy. When I googled the number it said scam. Have you ever heard of them?

I received a call today from this number. A person name Ms. Gonzalez left me a message stating that it was an urgent matter and that I need to make arrangments with them or my drivers license would be suspended and my pay check would be garnished. I called back but she just kept me on hold so I hung up and didn't call anymore.

I got a call today from whoever. The lady was talking so fast I didnt understand nothing she said. She said that they where going to garnish my wages and suspend my license. I asked for further information on who was collecting th debt and what company I got a payday loan from. She told me American Cash Advance and gave me the number for Advance America. I called and the customer service lady tol me that they dont have me applying for a loan from them. They fraud company even told me some fake bank I supposedly used to get the loan. I called her back and told her go ahead and garnish my wages. The dumbies need to get a life because they even had the nerve to tell me where they think I work and I told them yes that is my employer so do what needs to be done. IM no dumby I check things out and I am Glad I googled the number and found this website.

Just received a call from 630-486-1900 stating they were going to garnish my wages and suspend my license. I was told to call 877-601-5871 ext 3000 and speak to Ms. Norwood. I will not be doing anything until the debt is validated. I know the laws being as though I work for a debt collector. They need to lose my number.
