I got a call from this same # tonight at 8:56pm. As soon as I say hello there is nothing but dead air.? Is this some kind of scam? I would like to know.

They called 3 times every day for the last 3 days! Found out it's Sears trying to sell extended warranty on a product I purchased. I called the number back (1-877-889-2024) and requested stop-call on my account. They should never call back now, or it would be considered harassment.

I was recieving these calls every day I called the Sears number below and was told it was from the maintinence they told me to call 1-866-491-2247 to have it removed I just did so we will see what happens tommorrow

I called the 1877 number back, spoke to an agent. They called because the warranty or servicing contract is running out on certain products I bought. I asked for them to update the one service contract to 'not required update' and he said no problem. By midnight the system will reboot and the calls will end until the next service thing needs renewing.

First call I got from this number was a Sears rep with my home address and knowledge of a recent purchase asking if my purchase is ok and the the sales pitch about buying an extended warranty with a bonus coupon deal.  I asked to be taken off the list and she said ok.  I didn't like that she offered my address without confirming who I was (other than asking for me by name).

I guess it was Sears... unless there's a breech in privacy and some scam group got my info.  I may follow up with Sears to verify.

You need to call the Sears Customer Advocacy Team at 1-866-491-2247 (Monday-Saturday 8am-midnight, Sunday 10am-8pm) and tell them that you do not want to receive any calls from their 1-877-889-2024 number.  They were very helpful and added me to their list to stop receiving these calls and told me that normally it takes ~48 hours to take effect.  I have my fingers crossed.

Thanks Louis for supplying the number to be taken off their list. Hope it's worked for you?! I'll be giving them a call tomorrow. I'm beyond frustrated and annoyed, but very grateful that you shared this information with all of us.

The phone number 18778892024 is Sears Canada, my house receives about four calls a day and was driving me up aa wall. I looked up the number on google and found this site and found a number to call Sears at 1 800 361 6665 called it and talked to sears customer service and told them to take me off the call list. So far so good!

877-889-2024 is Sears and here is how to stop it for good. Call their policy centre at
866-491-2247 and tell them you wish to go on their "No call list". They will ask
for your phone nr, name and address. The call will take 3 minutes of your time
and the phone calls will stop

I get this call twice a day 7 days a week. How can I report this call. I never pick up...Please help

I received the same phone call. So I asked my phone service (Videotron) to block that number. No more call from 877-889-2024.

These nerds called me around christmas .... For the last time loose my number... Give it up ! :(

This number is on my phone each and every day 3 times...I have blocked it but can still see it. This has been going on for MONTHS. How do I get this to stop..I am already on the do not call registry.
