So "Honesty" and or "Last resort" is trying to make this place sound legitimate? Maybe you should explain why the address on your firm's website is to an office in Nanuet that doesn't even exist. I guess that's a pretty good way to pretend that you aren't working out of 17 Squadron Boulevard in New City. I'd also like to hear your explanation how your firm just appointed a "team leader" that is a convicted felon.

If you know replies to Hey Now
If you know all that you must work there yourself?? Also that doesn't change the facts about people issuing bad checks and being liable for them.

Bounced checks are supposed to be handled by a District Attorney's office, not by a bunch of rejects who didn't get into college. I don't work there but I have done business in that building and I saw one of your co workers being taken out in an ambulance and telling the EMT's that she didn't have health insurance because her work does not provide it to her.

Thank you, you just narrowed it down to exactly who you are, and where you work. Also your argument is weak at best and completely transparent at worst. People issues bad check and they are liable for it, period end of the story.

If you had no shame in what you did there you would be happy to use your real name and you would have some sort of business card that you would be glad to give to people. Just because it is against the law to write a bad check doesn't mean that a bunch of clowns who use fake names get to collect the amount of the check plus whatever fees you feel like making up so you can bring home a bonus each month. Maybe you should be more concerned about why Brad Rephen is giving one of the female collectors cash in the hallway and why he won't drive himself to work because he doesn't want anyone to see his Escalade so he can try and evade more process servers.

I got a call from 888-222-1930 from a Kelly James. She told me that I have a debt to pay of 600+ dollars for two textbooks that I never returned to the college I went to briefly. Saying that they would have just charged my account but it was declined almost convinced me because I lost my credit card around that time and had to get a new one with a new number, and never updated the school. She also added that it wont come up on my credit report unless i pay it back, one this month and the second next month. I ALMOST FELL FOR IT! I’m so poor, and to think I almost was made even poorer by these [***] really makes me angry.
If she calls again ill tell her to take me to court. And I will gladly go to court and pay a fee, rather than give my credit card number over the phone.

You also need some serious help with your reading and writing comprehension. I never defended people who write bad checks, I said that you titwits aren't the ones to regulate that type of thing.

Jill Benson contacted me from Crystal Moroney Law saying what everybody else has said, I have an outstanding amount of money due that I better pay to avoid legal matters. A book I rented for 155$ now is $330. Without a written bill or warning mailed to me or served to me, I will not just had over a ton of money . This "law firm" needs to be investigated for fraud and shut down until they can demonstrate a proper procedure. You can't just call somebody, claim they owe hundreds and get paid. I'm not skeptical about this, I am accurate. Mail me this information, I will review it and probably then be accountable for my mishaps- if there are any. Tell them to mail you the details, YOU WANT IT IN WRITING "LEGALLY".

I also got the call for my daughter, for rented books.  We attempted to fix the issue, but first I asked for a breakdown of what they are charging me, and to send me a bill.  You don't pay someone over the phone with nothing in front of you and not knowing who they really are.  Then they said they can't send a bill unless I decide to make a payment plan, I offered $20 a month, the refused and said it wasn't enough.  Really who does that

Beware and Know Your Rights replies to Debbie
These clowns kept calling me as well and I initially fell for the scam.  Any debt collector MUST submit to you in writing their claims...e-mail is insufficient.  I never received anything in the mail even though I asked on numerous occasions.  Once I contacted the State Attorney General's Office in New York all of this nonsense ceased.  Good luck!

I got a call from a blocked number so I didn't answer. In the message, a "lawyer" named Stacy Blackem said I was involved in an important financial case, and gave me her callback number of 18882258801, which led me to this site when I googled it. I'm glad I looked it up, because the whole thing seemed sketchy to me, and clearly it's an attempt to get money out of me.

    Ugh
So, I had a book stolen from me that I could not afford to pay. I was not able to get it resolved with the book store so they sent it to collections. I paid it off. I have been getting phone calls from this company ever since. When I asked for a bill and proof of payment printed on company letterhead I was denied. They claim I owe $750.00 which is ridiculous for a book that was originally $79.00. I'm not responding to the calls anymore and am reporting them.

I'm not a teenage kid I'm a responsible 44 year old father, that runs a business, I take my credit seriously!
