I keep getting calls from Sallie Mae because someone used me as a reference without my permission. They evidently didn't pay their loan so I get the calls. I have told them now 6 times that they are not calling about me so quit calling me. Now for the 6th time I was told my number will be removed. I am on a do not call registry which isn't worth a sh*t... I tore into them again and said I would go to the attorney general next. These is crazy. I can see if it was mine but it is not.

I keep getting calls from this number to 22-243-1189 and I have never had a Sallie Mae account.

Navient student loan debt servicing. If you have no student loans or they are looking for someone else (in my case it was someone else).  You can call 877-830-7629 and they should be able to flag your number as wrong/remove it from the system.

Received a call from this number looking for someone who doesn't live here and is not at this number!  VERY irritating!!

I'm confused. If these people are calling you, you obviously owe someone money...PAY WHAT YOU OWE AND DON'T BE A DEAD BEAT SCUMBAG LOSER!

I don't owe anything, don't assume.

If you are permanently and totally disabled, their is a process you can go through to get all student loan debt forgiven. I have done this for many clients, it is not difficult just fill out the application they do the rest. Good luck

Just had a call form this number with a message I could not understand. Garbled at best. Have not been in college for almost 50 years!

Same here.  I was ripped of by University of Phoenix. Now, I am homeless and sallie mae still manages to find me and harass me.

If I am right this is now run in a foreign country, how do they expect you to be able to pay bills if they keep outsourcing?

They hang up on me when I answer as well.

these people call at any time of day or night.  I've received calls at 12:00 am in the morning after already spoken to them.  they don't seem to update their records and they keep calling and calling.   apart from that when you try to explain they get very disrespectful.

isn't it against the law to call people on weekend before 8 am or after 8 pm.  These people have me on a roll a coaster.  Every hour on the hour no matter what time of day.  I've already spoken to them, but they don't seem to update their records.  It's gotten to the point were I don't answer these calls any more.  tired of explaining the same thing over and over.  They are trying to collect the same accounts and amounts my son has already paid. This time through me.   I'm not paying double for my kids education as it is I feel my kids were studying to be the president for the amount of money we have paid.
This is insame.

It is not jut that school. I was unemployed and my daughter's school told her I had to apply and be turned down before the school itself would find aid. They approved me and I had no income! I will be paying these loans till I am dead. There is no reprieve from anywhere.

I have received several calls from this number for the past week. They have not left a message, but since I read this site and found out it was about a student loan, I called back to have my name removed from their list. I am retired and have been for a number of years - have zero students loans or any unpaid bills. When I called back to ask them to remove our number it was an automated call. I was asked to enter my social security number which I had no intention - then it prompted me to enter my account number. I have none since I don't have an account. It finally indicated it would connect me with a representative. I was connected to a live rep who asked me the same questions to which I replied no to the social and I didn't have a loan so no account number. She put me on hold then came back and told me she would transfer me to a "Non Loan Holder" number so they could remove my number from their system. I held for 12 minutes so that I could get my number removed and stop the irritating calls and no one ever came back - I finally hung up. I'll just block that number.

Don't have any loans with anyone and they have called three times.  Can't understand what they are saying.
