My son received this card at an address he has not lived at for almost 2 years. He has been out of school for a long time. Polar bear stamp, canceled from East Texas P&DC, zip 75708 post marked 4/30/2010. The bar code is a tracking number. Post Office should be able to scan and tell you about it, if they will. Tried tracking number on all three FEDEX, UPS and USPS w/o luck. Number 1112-5201-8770. List hours to call M-F 9:AM-6:PM (EST) Sat 8:AM-1:PM (EST). This is not standard reference for hours within the US. Have not tried to call number.

I received the post card in the mail, the postage was good, and the number on it was 888-465-0877.  I made the call and after about 5 minutes of “Please hold you are very important to us.”  (I am a very patient person and was changing after just getting home from work.) Finally a woman answered the phone with a cute little southern accent but a painfully harsh voice.  Turns out that this is an offer for Global Vacations, the package is your choice of 3 trips.  I told them no thanks, because I have been to a Global Vacation seminar before, 90 minutes of my life I will never get back however, it is interesting if you don’t own a timeshares.  It is a vacation club, if only they sold discount airfare!

Received lime green post card in the mail, from East Texas P&DC 75708, dated My 07, 2010. Has Polar Bear stamp (28). Said to call to schedule pickup.  After reading 2 pages of reports on same situation, must be a scam. Not calling and will report it to the post office. Live in IL, not a senior.

Got the same card here in Orlando- called from cellphone, got recording, waited and got another recording asking to input package number.... had to do this twice. After they asked me to input the # a third time I figured something might be fishy. I'll be monitoring my cellphone account to make sure whoever may be on the other end didn't just hack my cell account. Wish I'd checked here first. If anything comes of this I'll post back. -D

My husband was the object of some suspicious email just the other day, his computer got a virus, a message regarding "unable to deliver a package"  it had an attachment, good thing he did not open the attachment.  Still had to pay to have the computer checked for viruses.  Had one.
BE SUSPICIOUS OF ANYTHING WHEN YOU DO NOT KNOW WHO SENT IT, EITHER SNAIL MAIL OR EMAIL.

Got one today for my husband, in IL. Green postcard, polar bear stamp, and two cancellation stamps (odd). I'm wondering how many people who got these also have an AmEx card. The spelling of my husband's name (incorrect) is the same way AmEx has it, and is the same as other junk mail that comes from them (ie Starwood AmEx card applications).

Got the postcard yesterday, thankfully could not call by the time I got home.  By the sounds of it (previous posts on this website), if all the other info is the same except for the package number, they must be tracking the address on the postcard...besides they spelt my name wrong.  The postcard goes in the trash now.  SCAM!!
