- Amy in OrlandoMy boss got this card today at our (big) place of business. I googled before calling...we both smelled scam even tho we're both from Texas with family in Texas.
I called for grins and it just rang without answer. I won't be following up on this.
This proves it's ALWAYS good to check the internet first. - JLS in IllinoisI received a green card as well, just like everyone else. I called them from work. When I called the name of the company was Express Package Delivery. They were calling on behalf of a "new company in my area" named Global Vacation Network. When they asked me to confirm my demographic infomation.
I asked to be taken off their list & hung up phone.- Call type: Telemarketer
- momo2 replies to DottieGot the same card today, unique package number, does have a cancelled stamp. Mailed from East Texas, TX. I'm in Michigan and not a senior.
Seems they're spending a lot of 28 cent stamps for nothing!
After reading all of these posts, I'm not going to call the number. - FSUfanreceived same green card like everyone else with a different package #. Don't call the number ! this is a scam. Just shred it (because it has your name and address on it) !
- Ira TatedThis appears to be a variation on the Nigerian Lottery Scam. The sender wants your credit card number so that they can rip you off. I received a call two or three years ago advising me that I had won a $10,000.00 lottery and all I had to do was to give the caller my credit card number to pay a processing fee to collect my winnings. I made the caller go bananas when I asked him for his address and FAX number so I could send him a letter authorizing him to act in my behalf. I indicated to him that the letter would indicate that he could keep 10% of the proceeds for his trouble. He kept fishing for a credit card number and finally made some disparaging remarks about me before hanging up. I never heard from one of those weasels again. Unfortunately the green card is to heavy a stock to use as bathroom tissue.
- Caller: Contacted via post card.

Package Number: 1113-0374-0678
Hours: M-F 9:AM - 6:PM (EST)

Mine had a stamp, and what looks like a phony post office stamping on with a blurred "East Texas" and a zip code that can't be read either. There's an ink blob of a side view of a little girl with a pony tail. It looked like a scam to me so I didn't even bother to call.- Caller: n/a
- Sandy replies to aWow! I didn't realize that! I'm in Florida, too. Today, 6/15/10, I got my "green" card, with no return address, same message, but I receive my mail in a special mailbox which I must open with a key. So, if it wasn't the mailman who delivered it, then who?
