- hipsI got the post card Polar Bear stamp with post office markings "east Texas" From May 17th 2010...However it was sent to my old address and it has one of those yellow post office stickers to track me down. I am curious. but after reading all these posts I prob am not going to call.
- KristyI got the same card... postmark is from East Texas P&DC 75708... I am also from MI, not a senior... I'm just going to black out my address and mark it return to sender... at least it will give the post office more work to do... :)
- repostI received the post card in the mail, the postage was good, and the number on it was 888-465-0877. I made the call and after about 5 minutes of “Please hold you are very important to us.” (I am a very patient person and was changing after just getting home from work.) Finally a woman answered the phone with a cute little southern accent but a painfully harsh voice. Turns out that this is an offer for Global Vacations, the package is your choice of 3 trips. I told them no thanks, because I have been to a Global Vacation seminar before, 90 minutes of my life I will never get back however, it is interesting if you don’t own a timeshares. It is a vacation club, if only they sold discount airfare!
- Caller: Global Vacations
- tastytonesame as all above. Please call to schedule pickup...green postcard...888-465-0877. I'm in N. Illinois, postmark was from East Texas...Cancelled Polar Bear stamp.
Not calling. Obvious scam. Thanks to everyone for the heads-up.- Caller: postcard

- Holland, MichgianI found this page searching for "East Texas P&DC". I got a call on my landline looking for me, my landline does not have caller ID so I don't know if it's the same number. I usually do all my business over my cellphone and have the landline for my DSL or for emergencies.
It seems to be the same postcard though.Dated May 24th- arrived on May 27th as did the phone call.
Green with a polar bear stamp, mine says to call 888-465-0877 to schedule a pick-up with a package number listed. I have not ordered anything.
I see people saying something about seniors- I'm 31. - Orlando, FLGot the same card, different package number. Postmarked East Texas P&DC 75078 mailed May 24 2010. sometimes wonder where they find addresses to send to, but then almost anyone can get on someone's mailing list. after reading these comments I will not be calling.
- Ken S.Got the postcard. As with others, threw it away.
- Spudbert| 1 replyI received a post card from East Texas. Please call to schedule pick up. I stupidly (stoopidly!) called. A recorded message answered "Express Deliver." I could not get a human no matter what keys I pressed.
I may call back and enter a random number just to see what happens. I have caller ID and never pick up unknown calls, so I feel relatively safe.- Caller: Express Delivery?
- Spudbert replies to SpudbertI did a little more checking. A gentleman named Alan Casey posts here http://www.complaintsboard.com/complaints/global-vacations-network-c338744.html.
The name of the company is Global Vacations Network. I am following "Tasty Ones" advice above and reporting it.
https://postalinspectors.uspis.gov/forms/MailFraudComplaint.aspx - attempted victimSame thing.....polar bear 28c stamp, different package # from east texas p&dc 75708 (PO stamp where originated)
- M_skiI got it too, In Holland, Mi and not a senior, no post mark on stamp (Polar bear). Wonder how it is getting delivered if not post-marked.
- Joel P.Received a green postcard with notice to call to schedule package delivery. A package number was also listed. There was printing on only one side of he postcard. nterestingly enough, there was no postmark.
- Caller: Express Package Delivery
- Joel P.| 1 replyP.S. to my previous post. My postcard also had a polar bear stamp. I live in Florida.
- Caller: Express Mail Delivery
- s.t. replies to Joel P.the stamp used is a precanceled bulk rate stamp. this type of mailing is entered into the postal system through the bulk mailing dept at the post office. Used for many types of mailings in place of a indicia to give a more personal look.
- matt replies to BassplayerGot the same green postcard in the mail.
Resident of Chicago, IL 60647. - Lynn replies to CindyI received the green post card today, and no I did not call the # as it says to call to schedule a a pickup for Package Number: 1113-0870-1310. Same as all the other responses: Polar Bear stamp that hasn't been postmarked! I will definitely be reporting this to the post office. I hope they find the person sending these & prosecute to the maximum. I live in FL also, but not a senior citizen, so don't who they are targeting.
