- nancyj8 replies to hairymole| 2 repliesWe got the postcard as well. Thanks for posting all comments and saving me some time. Ours was for 2 roung trip airfares and 3 day 2 night hotel stay.
- DebbiemReceived a postcard today advising of "2 Roundtrip Airfares to anywhere Southwest flies." It also has a notation for "this is not a timeshare or land sale offer." From all the posts on this site, will not bother to call them......Thanks everyone
- Boraxo| 1 replyJust received the same postcard offering "2 Roundtrip Airfares to anywhere Southwest flies." It also has a notation for "this is not a timeshare or land sale offer." Looks like they are now using Southwest as bail instead of United. Will be forwarding the card to the Southwest legal dept.
- DY in San Diego replies to BoraxoSo my concern is how they got my info? The card I got came around my birthday and they obviously have my mailing address. While I recogized off the bat that this was a scam (2 free tickets on Southwest), I'm still wondering where they got my info from.
- michelle replies to ScottI got a postcard in the mail. Congratulating me, with 2 Southwest airline tickets. This seems to be a trend and a scam. it says for complete details visit http://webpaper.co/716
- Bart ZeZlataku| 2 repliesI received a post card last week, just like the other postings here. When I called the number, I was given the dates, times and location of the seminar. I went to the location on Monday, 29 August 2011. When I got there, I was told the seminars are by appointment only and it was for couples, not individuals. I was referred to a man who claimed to be the Sales Manager. He told me his name was Bill Ferrell and gave me a cell' number of 832-359-7872. He told me to call the 888 number back and insist on speaking to a supervisor, tell the supervisor what had happened, and the supervisor would mail me the vouchers.
Mr. Ferrell, if that is his name, and the hotel's seminar listing said the name of the travel agency was "Great Getaways" and they were out of Texas.
I called the 88 number three times over a two hour period and was always told the supervisor was busy, but would call me back. Guess what; no call.
While I was waiting for the call, I attempted to search the agency on the internet. Guess what; no matter what type of search I tried, I found no agency by that name in Texas.
This site is just one of many I found exposing the fraud. I hope no one ever gave them any money.- Caller: Great Getaways
- Call type: Telemarketer
- jamesAvoid this company. They are committing fraud and authorities know about it and do not intervene thanks to free market.

- Annette| 2 repliesI received the postcard for 2 RT airfares on Southwest plus 2 night hotel stay. They are scheduled in be in Pleasant Hill, California, September 17-19. I called. The call center doesn't know much about the deal or additional information other than what is already on the postcard. When I asked for a company name, she called it Great Getaways Travel Agency. Of course there are a million companies when you google "great getaways travel." I'm glad I took the additional step to google the phone number.

- Curt replies to Annette| 1 replyI have a friend dealing with this company right now. Do you recall what hotel they will be at this weekend?
- SamGot the Southwest 2 ticket offer postcard. Call within 48 hrs to get 3 day 2 night stay. RSVP WCC0917. Postmark says West Palm Beach FL, Permit 3950. No other information or addresses on the card. I recently flew Southwest (and have not flown SW in many, many years). I am beginning to wonder if someone in SW has access to passenger lists and using it and scam from the outside!
- DingerI just recieved the same mailing and thanks to all of you I will not waste my time with this offer. Thanks to all of you that have posted here, THANK YOU, I am also forwarding info to southwest, curious though that I recieved the offer around my birthday also???
- Devildoc replies to MichelleWe just got ours today. New airline now "DELTA"
- RPEDGot ours today--Delta, 2 R/T tickets, plus 2 nights hotel. RSVP BDC.
Funny, front of card says Delta with logo, and Southwest Airlines.- Caller: Postcard
- Matt replies to cathy in califThe site "didn't exist" because the address you have listed is incorrect. It's www.webpaper.co/716
Not saying it isn't a scam but maybe there's some kind of warning on the page which is one of the worst quality PDF's i've come across.
Cheers... - BOB MAGS replies to Bart ZeZlatakuIF YOU WANT YOUR NAME (AND OR PHONE #) REMOVED , WHEN YOU RESPOND TO THE 800 NUMBER TELL THEM YOU ARE DIVORCED AND UNEMPLOYED AND DO NOT HAVE A CREDIT CARD. IT WORKS FOR ALL TELAMARKETERS.
- Margaret Darby replies to hairymole| 1 replyJust got a card in the mail loooking like it was from Southwest Airlines -- so they are in the Avon CT area now. Thanks for all the alerts! I am surprised the airlines haven't shut these guys down for using thier logos, etc.
- Scott/Tolland/Ct replies to Margaret DarbySeems like they are back in New England...Southwest Offer...2RT tickets...3day 2 night stay...RSVP CT 0930...their data base is very current as my address has been changed for only a month or so and they still picked it up.M8D8
