The case is no longer pending, the Texas AG's office provided the Agreed Final Judgement and Permanent Injunction, Cause No. 09-09880...if you go to the TX Ag's office web site you can access the entire judgement.

Their scam is related to Pacific Palms Destination of Woburn, MA

    Again, no help

You have to file a complaint with the AG in MA.  It may help to call the AG in Texas, since Jerald F. Jackson was already sued there for this same fraudulent business practice.

Thank you very much for letting us know about this scam. We got our Delta postcard and and made an appointment to go; but I wanted to check online before going. Everyone talks about the scam; but so far you are the only one letting us know about the actual modus operandi of this scam. I knew, it was a scam but I was curious.

Thank you, very much. You save us a trip.

I don't think it has to do with Delta because I've never flown that airline, and my card came the other day, it has my dad's name on it but he's never lived at my address nor is there any documentation of him ever living here...its a scam.

Seems like more than one airline is being listed by this company. Mine was from United Airlines and I hear that others are from Southwest. When I read up on the comments from other people, I am glad I did the research. I wonder: What does Southwest or United get for their involvement? A kickback? Probably. A black mark for working with fraudulent people and scammers?  In my book, yes. I will never read further than the return address on these any more. Southwest and United mailers, etc. all go right into the trash.

My flyer (a postcard) had NO return info other than the United Airlines name and logo. The flyer touted, "2 round trip tickets to most Major Airports in the Continental U.S." and hastened me by saying "Call within 48 hours. You will also receive as a Bonus 3 Day 2 Night Hotel Stay!"  Seriously?? Within 48 hours of what? 'Most Major Airports'? Right; which ones constitute a "Major" airport? Yeah sure. I'm turning the other way, not the other cheek.

Rec'd a postcard in the mail from United.  My husband made an appt.  I came on line to check this out and found this site.   We're suppose to have our meeting at the Country Inn Suites in Bradenton, FL. today.  Glad I checked on this.  I was pretty sure it was a scam.  Promo Code 0601

So, today I receive a post card stating that I have been selected to receive 2 round trip airfares to most major airports in the continental U.S. from United Fly Away Program.   If I call within 48 hours I will also receive as a bonus a 3 day 2 night hotel stay.  Of course I do not believe it but I call 1-888-639-6990 anyway.  I am asked the promo code which I supply.  I am asked if I have a valid I.D.  Of course I say yes.  I am then asked whether I am married or single.  I reply that I am single.  I am then asked if there is another living with me, girlfriend or partner.  I reply, girlfriend.  I am then asked what the total household income is.  Is it over $60, 000?  I reply no.  I am then asked under $60,000?  I reply, yes.  I am then told that I do not qualify.  How can I not qualify for free anything?  I tried to contact United as this is the name and logo on the card.  Maybe I should have tried the automated chat feature on their website as the responses state the the "person" does not understand the question.  This is just a heads up to those who receive the same or similar post card.

Thanks everyone for your posts....here's what my Post Card says:

The top the post card is titled "Fly a US Airline"
    "Dear <my name>

CALL WITHIN 48 HOURS.  YOU WILL ALSO RECEIVE AS A BONUS
$300 IN DINING FOR THE FIRST 50 CALLERS.
We have been trying to contact you! (This is not a timeshare or land sale offer)
    RSVP   ALB0707
To Claim this special offer, simply call 1-888-639-6990
    Mon-Fri 9AM-11PM EST   SAT 9AM-6PM EST.

The postage on this card was Presorted, First Class Mail, US Postage PAID, West Palm Beach FL, Permit 3950.

There is a small disclaimer in the bottom left corner of the postcard which states "Certain restrictions apply.  Call for details of participation.  Taxes and reservation fees are the responsibility of the recipient.  Offer void where prohibited by law.  Not applicable to Alaska or Hawaii.  Seller of Travel 2105004-50".

On the back of the card is a picture of a plane taking off as viewed as though you were standing below the plane.  The landing gear is retracting.  There are no visible airline markings.  It's just a white underbelly, and grey/silver wings.  The plane is most likely an Airbus 320 or 330.

It also has the caption below the plane, which states " FLY AWAY ANYWHERE, A US AIRLINE FLIES".

They do not specifically associate themselves with any airline.  However, I always feel real special and unique when I receive something in the mail which was sent "Presorted First Class Mail"....a.k.a. Junk Mail Postage......

Today I got my postcard with text very similar to that noted previously, but this one was branded with American Airlines (and with their actual color logo even).  Glad I checked the callback number online to save a phone call and waste of time.
