I recieved a message today from 888-886-3606 claiming they set up a new office in Warwick & I won a vacation cruise for 2.  I figured it was a scam, but I wanted to call anyway, so I blocked my number and called "Pacific Palm Destinations".  I listen to Edgardo's speech and quickly asked for the address (83 Vermont Ave, Warwick, RI) & I looked it up while on the phone and found this site.  I then told him I'll call back to schedule an appointment & he gave me his cell# 813-335-0472.  I called the same 888 # back about 20mins later and got "Gloria" who gave the same address, but said the company name was "Resorts".

I told her their company was sad & pitiful for trying to scam people out of their money in this economy & that I will be reporting them.  Needless to say; she hung up on me.  This is a TOTAL SCAM!!! Don't call.

don't bother going...we went last week, altho our place was in Medfield, Ma. and it was called Global Destinations..they put on a presentation and bottom line amount was $12,000 but if you signed that night the cost would come down to $9995...a high pressure salesman tries to get you to sign and when you say no he calls in the "Big Guns"...another guy gives you another price and we got it down to $6995...we didn't go to buy....2 roundtrip tickets and a $100 gas card was our incentive..they say you can go anywhere in the world for a small fee ($158 for a week) and stay in gorgeous places...i googled this company and found many, many complaints that you can't get the weeks you want...they LIED and said they have an A+ rating with Better Business Bureau...i googled that too..they are not even rated because of the number of complaints.....oh and by the way,  the airline tickets are not free...you have to send in a check for a processing fee, and then the airline sends a request for more money and some people have said that a second request had come from the airlines...so after sending in all this money, close to $250, are you sure that you will actually get the tickets???   i am glad that when i got home from this scam that i did a lot of research on it...i will not send in any money for tickets that were supposed to be free....A TOTAL SCAM.....

I received the postcard from Southwest Airlines, and set up a meeting on Saturday to listen to the news about a new travel agency in Las Vegas. I never call on these types of things, but the front of the postcard has the logo of Southwet Airlines on the front. I was still supicious so I did some checking on the internet. It is the old story if it sounds to good to be true, it is a fraud.

Got an e-mail message, followed by a postcard showing an airplane and Delta's logo, offering two roundtrips on the latter airline if you called their number within 48 hours, blah blah blah.   The e-mail also mentioned Expedia.    At least in fine print on the postcard it said "for complete details of this offer please visit us at" a "webpaper716" address.  And thus I found myself here ;).    What bald-faced, brazen liars!    I feel for those of you who experienced this evil firsthand.

Got a postcard a couple days ago; we are in upstate NY. Our postcard offers 2 round trip airfares with Frontier Airlines. Phone number is different (888-294-0997) but it was sent from Palm Beach with the same permit number as many of you #3950. Hope they get them!!!

received postcard offerring 2 RT airfares to anywhere Southwest flies. If call w/in 48 hours may receive bonus 3 day 2 night hotel stay.
The number provided to call is 1-888-516-4142
I didn't call....I instead looked up www.webpaper.co/716 on web and saw unreadable "offer" as too small to read.  Then saw this notice about a non-existent company that may be a person phishing.

Thanks for all of these posts! I just received a very similar postcard in Massachusetts. Mine had Southwest Airlines on the front instead of United and the phone number has changed to 1-800-372-4172. It looks like the complaints are following them, but not stopping them. I did go to the website which was simply a scanned copy of a similar advertisement requesting a $50 deposit.

these scumbags are in woburn right now.
they just got 500.00 dollars cash out of my husband and i today. im so sick to my stomach right now.
my issue is, i LOOKED AND LOOKED online today to find something on this before going, and never found any of this info til tonight. we are supposed to go back tomorrow to bring them a post dated check,. and my husband and I believe we will be going tomorrow to tell them to give us our cash back and rip up the paperwork, or we will be yelling scam all day long to everyone that comes in the building. they are scheduled to have seminars tomorrow as well.

God do I wish i saw this earlier. : ...(

bad things happen to good people.

My husband and I are embarassed to admit that these goons almost had us... we still cant believe we didnt look further online yesterday, before attending their "seminar". we left it with high hopes that it was for real.. especially with our the money we were hoping to save to travel back and forth to visit with our daughter, had she decided on a specific university, that was a great deal further from home than id have liked.  we put down 500.00 cash. we went to dinner, and started asking a lot of questions... wondering, why was it  "too good to be true?"    when we got home, we started digging online and started pulling up nothing but bad stuff on these guys.   I was soo mad.   I knew they were going to be at the same office today and that they had seminars set up to do today as well. AND I knew, that they would rather lose 500 dollars today, than the thousands I was sure they'd be pulling in today alone. I told my husband we were going back there RIGHT before they were about to start the 12 o'clock presentation, when the place would be filled with other couples. I was going to tell that preacher that he was giving me my 500 dollars cash back today, or i was going to show every single person that came into that building, EXACTLY what i had found on the interenet myself about their scam, with the Ipad i had with me, AND all of the print outs id had brought with me as well.
naturally we left with our money today. cash.
thank you all very much for telling your stories here. it DOES HELP.
    thank you!

    Not calling back
Got the card - it's Air Tran for the free tickets with a logo now.  Not sure about any of this but whenever I get a call from someone I don't know I always go to whocallsme.com to verify who it is.

Glad to find out that the free tickets are not actually free, I won't be trying to use them. Been there, done that.

Thanks for all the informative comments.

Different comapny, SAME PEOPLE. The excerpts below are from a case pending in Texas (Case# 09-09880)

PLAINTIFF'S ORIGINAL PETITION FOR CIVIL PENALTIES AND FOR INJUNCTIVE RELIEF
TO THE HONORABLE JUDGE OF SAID COURT:

COMES NOW, the State of Texas, Plaintiff, acting by and through Attorney General Greg
Abbott, and files this Plaintiff s Original Petition for Civil Penalties and for Injunctive Relief against
    INFINITI VACATIONS LLC; BRAD A. CORMACK, Individually, CRAIG NAREZ, Individually;
    and JERALD FRANKLIN JOHNSON, Individually.

    IX.    . SPECIFIC FACTUAL ALLEGATIONS

INFINITI VACATIONS LLC, BRAD A. CORMACK, CRAIG NAREZ, and JERALD
FRANKLIN JACKSON (hereinafter Defendants) sell and/or have sold travel club
memberships to Vacation Travel Club using high pressure sales tactics. JERALD
FRANKLIN JACKSON made sales presentations and was a managing member of INFINITI
VACATIONS LLC up until April 24, 2009. CRAIG NAREZ was a managing member of
INFINITI VACATIONS LLC until very recently. Defendant BRAD A. CORMACK has
been and continues to be a managing member of INFINITI VACATIONS LLC since its
inception in March 2008. Defendants entice consumers to attend sales presentations by
offering free trips, free airline tickets, and/or free gasoline. Once consumers arrive at the
offices of INFINITI VACATIONS LLC, they learn that they will have to pay a deposit, port
charges and/or taxes to obtain the promised free airline tickets and trips or that they.will have
to take numerous surveys to earn "free" gas. When consumers attempt to schedule the "free"
trips or utilize the "free" airline tickets, consumers complain that the restrictions are so severe that they are unable to schedule the promised trips.

Consumers who attend the sales presentations are promised that if they buy a membership to Vacation Travel Club, they will be able to travel for "pennies on the dollar." Moreover,
consumers are promised the "lowest prices for travel." The presentation room is decorated
with a sign that states Vacation Travel Club is a member of the Better Business Bureau.
While Vacation Travel Club may be a member of the Better Business Bureau, INFINITI
TRAVEL LLC is not a member of the Better Business Bureau. Consumers pay anywhere
from $1,900 to $7,000 for a membership to Vacation Travel Club. When consumers attempt
to make travel reservations using their Vacation Travel Club membership, they are unable
to schedule the trips they desire and/or the prices offered by Vacation Travel Club are similar
to those that consumers can obtain for themselves using the intemet.

Different comapny? Really? How many times have these people relocated and changed the "company" name?
