    Ok. I didnt recieve a call from this number listed as ROGERS. It was Connected to a package sent to me , in my name, and I got the fedex notice in my email. They had delivered a package sent to me but to an address I havent lived at for over 6 years! Not even in the same city as me.... So now, curiosity has gotten the best of me, and Im travelling to the place it was delivered to to see who : OAKVILLE-MCE with the phone number listed as 1-888-764-3771 is and what they sent me... wondering if I should take bomb squad? lol Ill update if Im still alive to let anyone know what I find out. I wasnt expecting a package from FEDEX, but I was expecting one from ROGERS, so lets see ....

    Right top of things. I see your dupe post to the 2013 user was removed. Why are you replying to posts from 2008 and 2013? Makes no sense.

    Call to my land-line at 10:21 Pacific today, claiming to be Rogers.
    The offer was for an iPhone 15 Pro Max for $65/month for 24 months, with cell-phone services:
    1. unlimited texts & calls to Canada & USA;
    2. 100 GB of data per month;
    3. 1000 minutes of international calling;
    4. $0.02 per minute long-distance rates world-wide, after those 1000 minutes.

    Very curiously, I got a very-similar offer from the same person yesterday, spelling his name as "ROHAN", calling from a different telephone-number: 647-495-2705 (which is a Telus number in Ontario).  He said "do you remember our call yesterday?"

    But, today allegedly was from Rogers at $65/month, and yesterday was from Telus at $55/month. $10 more than yesterday ?!

    I was asked for my name, my credit-card number, and a scan of my driver's license or my passport.

    So, my conclusion is that it was a scammer, "spoofing" the actual telephone-number of Rogers & Telus, to try to scam me out of my personal information.
