This number called me and left a message about an exciting new navigator guy feature that will be included in my cable TV service package. Needless to say, I didn't call back.

it can be a scam number... I got a call from somebody claiming to be rogers and that my service would be interupted and then they asked for my DOB which I would not provide... they hung up.... called into rogers they said they were not trying to contact me

I received a call from rogers and I do not get rogers and do not need them. It has to stop.

I am quite sure that  this is a call from  a machine that checks to see if it is a good number,  or if anyone answers,  or if a FAX
answers...      If you have a Fax,  use it to determine if  letting it answer the call, results in a flood of faxes from other
numbers..

Many call centers call you and wait for a  voice  to answer   They do this to save time for them..  I have been picking up
the phone and saying NOTHING,   or just whispering  quietly ...   If there is a person calling, they will eventually say Hello
before you do..   If not,  they hang up  in a predictable  time,  (about 20 seconds)

There is an older   cordless phone  with a feature called "Call Zapper"..    It can send a  tone  if you allow it to do so,  which
will tell the calling machine that your number is NOT IN SERVICE..      Once your Number is in this database,   this caller
will not call you again.      Look for it at a thrift store if you can not find a current model.

Get a Panasonic cordless phone,  with a feature called "Call Block"
It will stop the call from coming through  after the first ring.
You need call pay for  "call display" for this to work

This is, in fact, Rogers' number  1-888-ROGERS1 .  I have no idea why they call but I have seen that number on my phone.  Just now I answered it and no one replied on the other end.

Calls every meal time, Every day. no one answers. One pain in the BUTT.

It is bull they keep calling

Just got called twice in five minutes. Have not answered either time. Long distance calls go to VM on my phone within two rings, anyway. No message was left either time. At this juncture I would say that I detest Rogers and would not be interested in dealing with the company again. Had cable through Rogers in my last house x many years and they tried to rip me off when I went to disconnect and move. I had to fight to ensure that we were not taken advantage of. Unless something changes, our days with Rogers are over.

It's not Rogers.  It's a spoofed number.  Just block it and they won't get through again.
