they got my GV number off of a craigslist ad, didn't answer, GV transcripted their message. Work from home, etc. Claiming daily deposits into your paypal account by placing a few ads on craigslist apparently.

I got this number too and it told me to go to: www.ferdfl.com which isn't a website.

i am getting call from +88888888 and +301  if anybody have any information about this please inform me...

This caller identified himself as the computer company to warn me that my computer was invested with a new Trojan virus, and that they were aware of this new virus, and needed them to get rid of it. When I told him I had no virus and have anti-virus protection, he said that I was so infected and my anti-virus program was not even aware of this virus, and neither would I be, but my computer would crash.
When I kept inquiring who he was, what his company name was and where he was calling form, he hung up. Definitely in a room with other people, and the accent was african. The number shows as 1 888 888 8888. This is definetly a rip-off company, trrying to get you to buy their anti-virus solution for this trojan virus...

About 20 numbers I get these calls from. I own nothing to anyone.
All phone compaines should let you block any of these bogs calls.

This number called me, they called me at work first (didn't have caller ID) claiming to be an insurance company, I was expecting a call from my insurance company and thought it was them. When I then realised it wasn't now they call my mobile constantly. They are now claiming they can get me compensation for an accident I had. Idiots, can't understand them they need to be stopped! Obviously a con!

I've received one in 20:40 p.m and it was a robot that was talking and he said things like that i won a shopping day in NJ but I live in Montreal, Canada!!!

If these calls persist - it will be time to call the Police Station for them to look into this further

Man called me from this number on October 13,2011. He had such a bad american accent I could not understand what he wanted. The only thing I understood is that he asked me if I had a computer. I said yes and hung up the phone.  I do not like these kind of calls. I am a senior citizen and am in bad health. Please do something to block these kind of calls. Thank you

Someone calls me from 888-888-8888 and no one says any thing. It happens often enough that it's very annoying.

Received a call from 888-888-8888, someone asked for George.  No George here.  A while ago we were getting this same call, asking for George from a different number, NYC I believe.  I had thought we finally convinced them there was no George at our number.  Until today.

Getting this message while we are traveling in Ghana.  Thank goodness we didn't answer b/c it would've cost $3 per minute.  They call at least twice a day so we were concerned it was important; luckily we were able to find this site so we dont answer the calls.

So, like most who've ended up annoyed with telemarketers, here's a real neat strategy to get the # from which they really call if they're "spoofing" theirs. It also works to the scare the $#!+ out of them. You'll need an app to reject the call and which sends a text when rejecting, a built-in option on Androids OS devices. Reject the call opting to send a text. If the originating # is invalid, your device will tell show form which # the call actually originated. Example: There are the endless calls from (spoofed) 719-527-0785. The device to which another of this yahoo's calls send the text shows 719-527-0785's real # is: +11-216-116-11. Try it rjecting with a text mssge and you'll find the real # form which your "visitor" has called.
Now, if you also want to stop them your reject text might read something on the order of: " You're being watched. FTC.gov has been again notified."  Begin you reject text, my friends, with the 1st sentence and elaborate as you see fit. Some I know use more, wholly legal, and perfectly frightening "elaboration".

When you've read this,please forward it to friends plus copy & paste it on every other site you might encounter which caters to us tired of telemarketer's bull, won't you?

It's Canadian Windows and Doors.  I'm on the do not call list, advised the tele-marketer; "thanks for giving your business name".  Now I can do my part in advising others of the nature and origin of these pain in the a** tele-marketers..lol

I recd a text advising to update my email on my virginmobile 510 phone and the link was homepage/vm510/ims. When i searched that it stated was a spoof number.

I have received a call from this number 4 times and they never answer, they just listen then hang up. Today November 8/2011 at 6:45 pm they called again, this time it was a very young girl and she knew my name and she kept giggling, I asked her what she wanted, and she just kept giggling and then hung up. I tried to call back but it doesn't go through. It is so frusterating because I have family out of town and there have been emergencies and I panic when it is a long distance ring. I phoned Bell Canada and they said I could change my number, and that I won't do. They then said to get the "DO NOT CALL LIST", I told them I can't afford anything else and they said it was no charge. This blocks the callers. I also get it where all the numbers but the first  1-000-000-0000.

any "company" that is using g-mail for their corporate emails is not a company you want to do business with. just think about it, they don't want to pay for, or provide an email address that can be traced to a real business address.
