The number is an online pharmacy scam... Suggest you take the call and then tell the representative to remove your number from their database or you will take legal action.  Worked for me.

This number called me on 4/6/2010 @ 11:11pm and again @ 2:48 am.  I reported to my phone carrier.

Got a call at my place of business from this number, caller ID showed Alliance Carpet, LMAO.  I answered and they asked for the owner by name, which they mangled horribly.  When I told them that he was unavailable they asked for the manager, who I then stated was myself.  They told me they were from Yellowpages.com asking to update my information.  I have read about similar calls like this one where they record your answers and try to bill you for something you never purchased, and use a very questionable recording supposedly confirming some sort of listing service.  When he started by asking me if our company name was <companyname> LLC I said NO and hung up.  Very fishy.....

I got a call from above number but i dont known who is speaking .

I've had around 6 of these calls in the last 24 hours - 3 of them in the last two minutes. When I answered the person on the other end claimed to be from Nissan, had my details and lots of questions about me. I declined to answer but they continue to call...

I've had that 888-888-8888 on my caller I.D. twice a day for the last 2 months. Before, they were calling only once a week, but now...it's scary. When I answer, the guy always ask for my husband. When I tell him that he's not available, he just hang up. If I don't answer, he doesn't leave a message. My husband and I, told him many time to stop calling. But he keeps doing it. Really annoying!!!

I am so sick of this stupid number calling me.  I've answered before and they ask for someone...it sounds like "hello...Beshan"?  I asked them to stop calling me.  Of course they didn't stop.  I've reported them twice to the do not call registry.  What's the point?  These people don't stop.  This is harassment and there's no way for me to stop it.  

I am going to try answering "Taco Bell".  That is so funny.

These people call several times a day and day after day.

I got a call from this number yesterday and nobody was there.  They called back today and it was a marketing call for Cialis/Viagara.  I assume this is a fact call back number so others will probably use it also.

Just received a call from this number.  This is not the first time.  I never answer the phone if I don't recognize the number.

Received a call from 888-888-8888  at 2 am and 3 am on my cell phone.  Tried to answer it but there no one there.

Just got a call from 888-888-8888 as well.  It seems everyone has a different response or request, or nothing at all from this number when answered.  I've noticed it is used by many different companies, whether it be overseas or a church organization, and everything in between.  They called me at 1:53 a.m., just a few minutes ago.  I did not get the chance to answer, as I wanted all my background noise to be silent so I could focus on what was on the other end.  By the time I got it quiet, my cell phone stopped ringing.  When I called back, it could not complete the call.  Something doesn't add up about this number, and I personally feel after reading everyones responses here, there must be a common link between us all to give this "organization" a reason to call.  Government watch list?? This is fishy....

They are from the Internet, and can put in any number for Caller ID. The same goes for all zeros...Never answer these, as if you do, they will then set you up for a network of bad boys that will be near impossible to be rid of...

i just got a TEXT from 888-888-8888 at 11:53 pm and the txt says "?o?(Heart shape)A'lkdmf?dfsf?GdhGDF? (shapes)...

this number has been sending me txt messages in egyption. not only that but since it has started sending me messaes witch was last night all of my freinds messages are also coming in all scrambled and weird. does anyone know what the hell is going on. ive contacted my provider and they have not gotten back to me yet. anyone know if theres something wrong with my phone or something. it wont stop.
