I have received these calls about two-three times every single week for months now.. I never answer, ´cause its obvious that this is bogus or some kind of fraud-attempt. I live in Norway, I can see that people all over the world has been getting these calls. I´d love to smack the people responsible for this really hard. Several times... Annoying!!!

been getting calls from this number for several weeks now. comes up as "private" on the caller id, but leaves a message saying, ..."this is a private matter for (my name) in a digitalized voice and leaves the number 888 888 8888.

I just received a call from this number with the same message. Thought it may be some kind of bill collector, but the only thing I would be getting called from may be student loans. Haven't called back to see yet.

I think the 888-888-8888 is from a search company. Someone has paid a fee to have someone search for you using your land line number or your cell number to get your address and other personal information.I'd advise not to answer the call. If you answer, I think thats the way they trace it. Don't take this as correct information. I think its odd that this number showed up on my cell, and i know for sure someone is tryin to track me down.

I got a digitized voice saying this was a private call for "(my name)" please call 888-888-8888. No indication what this was regarding.

I have been getting 3 calls a day from a number that shows up as "blocked" on my caller ID. They leave messages saying this is an important phone call for (my name) in a digitized voice. There is nothing else in the message other than the number 888-888-8888. I hope someone can find out who theses people are and get theses calls to stop.

I got a phone call at 4:42 AM from this number.  I didn't answer it because the number definitely seems suspicious.  They didn't leave a message.  I went to whitepages.com and did a reverse phone lookup.  The number was given for two entries: Dennis Hour in Beverly Hills, CA 90210 or Wannado City in Oakland Park, FL.  I just blocked the number through my cell phone provider.  I don't need to get phone calls all night long from some idiot.

i got a call from this no. on my cell and called it back on my land line. recording said "this is ymax communication test #; this # was successful".then got a disconnect.

receive this message at unlisted number.   message says "please hold on for an important message for...." & they refer to me by name & then ask to be called back at 888-888-8888.

I got a call from this number and it said "Alliance Carpet" on my caller ID.

This number called me at work... It was a recorded call the recorded was in spainsh..

I bet that's the scam, or at least part of it. The people that are urious enough to call back, which i'm sure is quite a few, pays the scammers a toll call perhaps. Just an idea. I've been contacted but I screen my calls even when it's an actual number.

The point is, if the number or person calling don't have matters important enough to  leave a message about they don't really need to speak with me or you or anybody. Don't be scared, your not in danger. Someone just wants your money.

i just received a call form this number at 11:14 pm EST on my cell phone.  i did not answer and they left no message.  they have not called me back at all.  i have not tried to call the number myself, and i do not want to, in fear that they will constantly continue to call me back if i do.

They've been calling my cell at least once a day for several weeks. I'm not answering.
