Report a phone call from 888-888-8888 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- JYesterday, around 2 PM I was texting a couple of friends; and I got a text from my boyfriend with all these symbols. But then I got texts that were normal. Then the 'all symbols' text made a comeback. And this kept happening till midnight. When I woke up I got 3 texts from this (888)888-8888. Yeah, I didn't reply back though but now that I have blocked these wanna be BAMFs, I haven't gotten any 'all symbols' texts.
You should contact your carrier and block this number.
Also I suggest you NEVER reply to their texts/calls.
*I posted this on 800notes.com- Caller: Wannabe BAMFs....
- RichardI've been getting calls from this number for several weeks, and answered it once. It was political telemarketer. It's my understanding that politicians and charities are exempt from the DO Not Call list.
- Call type: Political call
- Moe| 1 replyThree times in the middle of the night this number called me. Who is it and what can be done about it.

- jayjay replies to MoeI just got a call from 888 888-8888 and it was a recorded political message from our idiot sheriff Joe Arpaio.
- LeeThey called me at 2.53am. I called back and it was a company selling beauty products. I strongly suggest that no one give personal information. It's a scam. Actual telemarketers cannot call during late night/early morning hours.

- Lisa Browngot this call at 3:10 am.
would not leave a message. - J. Muldoon replies to James Brumet| 1 reply888-888-8888 is not a specific business but rather an "alias" phone number that a caller
can utilize to disguise both their identity and call origin. The number itself could actually be any
series of random numbers as these outbound calls are often made via the internet using a
VOIP application and thus are extremely difficult to trace. Further those randon number sequences can sometimes be a legitimate business or residence that has nothing to do with the caller. Their are multiple "phishing" scams utilizing this technique promising everything from free vacations and shopping sprees to cash prizes. Most will ask for your credit card or checking account number to cover a nominal shipping fee. As most of these scams are located in foreign countries the U.S. Do not call List and the Telephone Consumer Protection Act are of little concern to them. Best to hang up, block the number at the handset level if your phone has the functionality or demand your phone carrier block the number ath the network level. Carriers do have the ability but you will never find a frontline customer service rep who will offer. You'll have to push a little. - ghostits me calling from beyond
