Portable phone died before I got a response.  This is getting irritating cause now everyone at my household who owns a card has to call there bank and check to make sure everything is alright.  However from the response here It looks like it was just a scam again.

They have called me several times even though I press the number that says you will be removed from their list and it is very annoying.  I also pressed the number for the customer service representative and said I didn't want to be called and they just hung up.

I asked them to remove me from their list and they rudley hung up (the second time!!) Told me once they find out I don't like it they call more and hung up.  Said they reprwesent Visa and mastercard.  Visa officials told me it is a scam and gave me the number for phone busters-they need reports like ours to bust them 1-888-495-8501  or on the web phonebusters.com
Looks like this is all we can do.  [***] calling our homes at all hours of the day, its harassment!!

this number keeps calling me all the time and i am not sure who they are and i would like it to stop.

this people have called repeatedly...this time just a hang up on my voicemail. several days ago i pressed one and when the operator asked if i was pressing 1 to lower my credit card interest rates i quickly talked over her voice and told her the call was being recorded and that if they did not stop calling i would turn the matter over to the authorities. she hung up. i have just filed a full complaint at the crtc. please take the time to do so. it is the only way to stop these people...they don't stop and have been calling here under numerous phone numbers for several years. https://www.lnnte-dncl.gc.ca/plt-cmp-eng

Have received many calls like this. Two from this number this week. Many other numbers have been used. One was a 321 area code from Melbourne Florida Accelerated Savings. The calls are all very similar. Googled that company and there is a lawsuit against them...they have used other names as well. Looks like they are just using a new number Phillipines while the case is ongoing.

At 12:29 PM MST on December 16, I got a recording telling me about lowering my credit card interest rate.  I pressed 1 to speak to an operator and the woman asked if I was calling about lowering my interest rate.  I asked her to remove my number from their automated dialer.  She said, "Thank you," and hung up in my ear.  BTW, you can sometimes have bank card interest rates lowered if you speak to the bank about it.

I got a call too.  I pressed 1.  When I told them that the violated the DNCL law they hung up.  I would bet that the number is forged and we have no way to complaining.

I just filed a complaint about this number with the Do Not Call Agency. I pressed 1 to ask to be removed from the list (I'm already on the Do not Call list) but the agent abruptly hung up as I was asking her to do this. This is not typical behaviour of reputable business companies. If you get a call from this number, beware.

I encourage everyone receiving calls from this telemarketer NOT to provide any personal information and to file a complaint as soon as possible.

SOUNDS LIKE NCO FINANCIAL! Simply call them and make an offer to settle for 10 cents on the dollar. You owe $3000.00 you only pay them $300.00. They have no power to take any real action against you, they are simply bill collectors that are told they will get paid XXX$$$ to collect, usually a per centage of the total owed. The people calling work for a call centre for $8.00 to $10.00 per hour plus a reward if you pay. Never send money as a settlement without a discharge of the debt from the original holder of that debt in writing. Make sure your cheque has "IN TRUST" to the party that you owe the money and subject to acceptance of your agreement. All your creditors must be treated equally so be careful on signing any agreement. If you are out of work, have no money and have nothing of value send them a registered letter outlining yur situation. Nobody beats a dead horse, NOT EVEN COLLECTION AGENCIES. They have to make money to stay in business!

This is definately a scam. Had a person tell me they received a call from this number and left a message stating it was urgent and she had to call immediately regarding her credit cards. So she called and they said they represent both major credit card companies and offered to lower the interest on them. She questioned which one of her credit cards they represented and they stated all of them. She again asked, which one? and they proceeded to tell her to insert an object into a certain body cavity and stated that they hope she would die, started laughing and hung up on her. What reputable company would say such things?

of course this is a scam.  I was very abusive (I can't believe some of the language that came out of my mouth...) and then blew a whistle into the phone.  It hurt my ears,  can't imagine what that Bonnie chick heard or if she hears at all anymore.   I don't think they'll be calling me back.   LOL

I told her she sounded hot but she couldn't speak english very well. She sounded like a hick out of the Color Purple. She called me a mother fu cker and hung up. Classic.

Same response as other people who answered.  However, the guy knew my name beforehand.  Scary....
