- jessicaglad to know I am not the only one who got a call from this number - my ex was a crooked cop's kid, and he stalked me - I never answer numbers that I don't already know, but it is really annoying and frustrating to receive unsolicited calls - it's like receiving unsolicited flyers or door to door salespeople - irritating and disrespectful and an eroding agent to human abilities to be generous and gracious or interested
- Caller: unknown
- JimmyjjamesAfter receiving 2 phone calls a day for the past month I decided to answer it...
What a laugh...I press the star key and got a woman telling me that I had to act fast before the bank foreclosed on my house. She wanted me to consolidate all my debt with their credit service. She also added that my credit card company had contacted them to get them to assist me in reducing my debt load. Funny thing she couldn't name my credit card company. Then when I told her I have no mortgage and no consumer debt she argued that she was looking at my accounts and it showed that I was needing their assistance. I can't help but laugh. I have never held any debt nor do I owe anything on my house.
These people are a joke plus they are spoofing a nonexistent phone number! If they were so reputable then they would not have to spoof numbers! - Dec 30, 2009Just got this call, I did not answer, but, when I call the number back, to get taken off their list, says "this # can not be completed as dialed". I tried a few times...I too am on the 'DNCL' in Canada...they will always keep calling, I just don't answer!
- Kelowna CanadaThey called us in Kelowna BC Canada
"Last chance to lower your rates"
we are on the Canadian do not call registry- Caller: unknown
- cki just got a call from this number too!
- BiffUnfortunately, making a NDNCL complaint (https://www.lnnte-dncl.gc.ca/plt-cmp-eng) is probably useless. The caller id seems to be faked - 929 is not a valid area code.
- Caller: Cardholder Services

- Bruce Atchison - authorAt 2:24 P.M. MST, some outfit calling themselves Card Services called. The recording said it was my last chance to lower my interest rate on my credit card. I pressed 1 and somebody named Gary answered. When I asked for my number to be removed from he list, he hung up in my ear. I called the CRTC and left a message about this second nuisance call. The first was on December 16 at 12:24 P.M. MST.

- MarilynI screen all my calls; this number showed up this morning, I did not answer it...I tried to find in the White Pages in reverse look-up but it was also unknown or could not be found.
It is best not to answer at all - sometimes I have picked up an obvious telemarketer and then hung up right away...I was immediately suspicious when I saw the 929 alleged area code...
I think once whoever this number belongs to connects to your phone line; it is their open invitation to do whatever they set out to do...
If anyone knows who it is; perhaps share with the rest of us...I certainly will not be phoning the number...- Caller: Unable to search...
- AngryI have told this company to stop calling on several occassions. It is illegal for them to keep calling after you tell them to stop. They will get huge fines if you report them. I tried to call the number back (I had missed the call) and the number is fake, you cannot dial it back....
- big joegot a call this morning at 9:30am. As some people suggested the call is from philippines(929 area code). I doubt about that, cause it would be 10:30pm in philippines time. I think the calls are from either Ontario or Quebec. They mask their number and I think it belong to a debt management company instead. These kind of companies usually affiliated or owned by collection company. that's why most operator are so nasty.
CRTC should know who they are by now(please post the company name out) and I think Revenue Canada should also caught up with these people too. Hope we all can have some peace & quiet over the New year. - RichardTorontoit started with a voice recording saying "this is an important message about your credit card" ... then I hung up.
I am on the do not call list. But as I understand it the law can only be applied to calls within Canada. - Herbert RomerGot a call again " last call to lower your interest rates, press 1 now!"
- nikkiCalled this morning but I don't answer numbers i don't recogize. No message left. By the amount of complaints about this # it seems nothing is being done to stop them.
- pain in the buttjust ignore it, pick up the receiver and hang up
- Scottdid a little research, this number is spoof. not from "Philippines", cause if it does it should display as "011 63 929 200 9110". Also the time that you receive their call is a factor too. Philippines is in different time zone. what about from "Florida", if so they don't have to spoof the number. call from outside of CANADA is exempt. logic tell me that the call is within CANADA, cause it's illegal to call people on the DNCL. people say they are "scammer" or "criminal". but look, at least they respect the labor law. not work over times or in statutory holidays. what is the odd you encounter criminal doing that. so it all came down to one conclusion, it relate to our country's fine debt mgt. co.(which one I don't know, but I think CRTC or RCMP must know). and does collection agencies have anything to do with it. I check and a number of agencies does mention debt mgt. in their website. I just hope someone from our govn't can
