Claimed I had won 1000.00 shopping online.....I gave them a hard time and they hung up...RUDE!!!!

I don't know how it got my phone number, and I'm not pleased that they've called me twice, and with out a voice mail. It feels fishy, and I am not crazy about it.

I received a call today from this number.  When I answered they were "excited" and told me I had just won a $100 visa gift card in their daily drawing.  They then told me that with it came three free trial subscriptions and asked which ones I was interested in.  I told them "my mommy told me I couldn't get any more mail" and they hung up!  LOL  *I am 40!*

Thanks everyone for sharing this info, I've received calls from them twice on my cell (only) phone with no messages.  When people don't leave messages it always makes me suspicious.

They definately are bogus. As to what extent I haven't found out yet.300 emails and this 9544147313 number all bombarded me shortly after I did a survey for Outback Steakhouse just to get a free bloomin  onion.

This morning I signed up for a so called ''legit'' secret shopper website.  Shortly after, I started getting calls from this number. When I answer, nothing. I figure it is the same as everyone else, the gift card/ magazine scam and they must use an automatic dialer so that is why nobody is there when I answer. Hopefully I get a human being on the other line soon so I can tell them I am a student & have no $ to give them! Seems to work for others!

They called, told me I won 1000$, asked my age, and when I told him 18, he said ok let's just say you are 19, because you have to qulify. He asked about my relationship status, job, what credit cards I prefered using, and magazines I liked to read. He told me about spending the moneyonline, aand only paying the S&H, then tried to transfer me to someone else to get more info from me, but I just hung up. I've been getting calls for weeks from a 9544147300 number. the first was the 9544147313 number though. Bogus. My mom think sthey are going to try and open credit cards in my name and ruin my credit score or something.  :/

I got a call today, and they asked my age, and what my job was. I said student. He told me about the $1000 shopping spree and you have to pay shipping and handling, and that theinfo would be mailed to my address. He had the address that I'm actually moving too. He then asked did I have a part time jpb, and I told him no, I am a student. I feel like I feeled out a survey that dillards sent me too, I thought it was administered by the store dillards but apparently not, bummer

I receive this call at least once a week, but never anyone on the other end.

I judt got ste same call. He said I would have to pay a 3 and change service fee for the magazines a month. At that time I said I'm not interested in that and he hung up on me. Scam. I also called the number back and it said the mailbox was full.

just got a call from them while at work tryed calling back and just like alot of you the mailbox is full.

I get a call 3 times a day from this number. Have no idea who it is. When I answer it theres no one there. very annoying.

I keep getting calles from this number and do not know why.

My wife had her facebook account hacked last week and starting the next day I have been getting a ton of calls from strange numbers.  I dont know if its related but it started right after that happened.

I too have been receiving calls in the mornings on my cell phone. Don't ever answer calls from numbers I don't recognize. They never leave a message!

This number keep showing up on my cell.  No messages and when called back got recording that mailbox was full.

I got a call on my cell phone yesterday from this number but missed it.  However, I came here and read the comments, and then I added the number to my contact list and named it "Scam Call."  Sure enough, they called this morning and started in about the $1000 shopping spree.  Then he asked "What do you think about this?" and I said "sounds suspicious to me."  I then demanded to know where he got my number.  He claimed that I had signed up at http://www.savingsmarketplace.com so I went to the website while I had him on the phone and assured him that I had never joined that website.  He then started hemming and hawing about the fact that they were the "marketing arm" of that website so I went and looked at the privacy policy and sure enough it stated that you could get contacted by third party marketers.  I also searched for "sweepstakes" on there as I do enter a lot of online sweepstakes and there was an ongoing sweeps there but I have nothing in my records that shows that I ever entered there.  So I probably entered another sweepstakes at another site and they sold my information.  I was pretty tough on him and told him to remove me and that they'd better not sell my information, at which point he said "Well, it's already out there."  Great.

I do enter a lot of sweepstakes and know that getting a lot of junk email is just part of it, which is why I use a separate email address for it.  But I'm generally pretty careful about the places I enter (I am familiar with the names of the judging agencies so if I don't see them on there I generally pass it by) but I RARELY get called...just mostly get junk email.

It's worth the hassle, however...I win a lot of sweepstakes :-)

Call from this number was identified as "Qotient Corp" by my caller ID. Dead air at first, then after i announced that I was reporting them to FCC if they did not talk and ID themselves I got a mocking evil laugh in response. Hung up on them and filed complaint on FCC website. Suggest you do the same if they call you.... shut these weasels down.
