Haha got the person thanks to youmail!! On my iphone! I even have the name and pic there using. Its a matez morris and shes black and damn nasty looking!! Thanks youmail:))) for busting this punk! I sent the pic and info to the cops two hours ago. So well see.

I got a text today at 5pm Saying, "Hi, don't know if you will get this or are able to reply but just checking.  :)"

I was thinking oh great is this some kind of virus or something so I just deleted the message.

Recieved a call from 999-999-9999  around 10pm... Someone just shouted then line got disconnected.

I did actually check this number using whitepage www.whitepage.com then click on reverse phone. Type the number and 50results will be displayed. All of them claimed to be the owner of the number. Not sure which one is which.

I just received a message from a 999-999-9999 number via text, stating "(URGNT!) You're the lucky winner of a new iPad3 to test & keep!!" then continues to list a website. I will certainly not be visiting the site. This was at 8:21 am mountain time Nov 22nd.

We keep getting a 999-999-9999 number calling our house everyday for the past week or so.  As with other unknown callers, it's never answered because we have no idea who it is.  No message is ever left.  I'm going to try to block the number and see if it still comes up.  Obviously, being on the "DoNotCall" list isn't stopping these weirdos from calling anyone any time or place.

It is a caller ID spoof software, lots of places use it. Could be any company that uses the service. They can select the number they want to show on your Caller ID.

I get the same symbols text messages from 999-999-9999 on my Virgin Mobile phone - started a few days ago the call exact at 9:42 AM and then again exactly at 9:42PM.  Good news - no charge is deducted from my Virgin Mobile account - bad news - it's annoying when the text alert sounds.

I recieved a text message from the number 999-999-9999 last night at 11:42pm ( i live in canada) the message said; your mobile number won US$2million in victory lotto promo, for claims email stellamoore58@live.com

How the hell did whoever this is get my number?????

I keep getting 4 terxt a night from this number at around 3:00 am my time.  The text is in gibbirish and does not make any sense.

You can make your phone number look like 999-999-9999 on anyone's caller ID. This is what company's use or a private person to no let who they call know their number.  If they call several times a day the person only sees 999 numbers they can not file a complaint on  that telemarketer that they are being called several times a day which constitutes harassment.   It also keeps a complaint being filed on a phone that is on the Do Not Call List.

hey. i got the EXACT same message about an hour ago. i also wondered how they got my number. i just deleted the message. hopefully that was the first and last time they'll message me.

I got the 2 million us thing too today and I'm with koodo.  What's the point or the scam with it like what do they get out of it?

I got this twice by text,

1. Saying happy birthday on Nov 27th which it wasn't
2. Saying that I smell or something like that on Dec 9
