999-999-9999

I received 3 text messages from this number last night from someone appearing to be a jealous ex or perhaps someone who just does not want to see me happy for whatever reason. After a little research I have determined that BCs local Telus Telephone company offers free sms messaging to any of it's customers from the web. And when you recieve the message, the caller id = 999-999-9999. So you can't call or txt the message back, which is probably a very good thing. In this case.

I get text messages from this # at 3am alot...I have heard  that these are hackers trying to get your personal profile from your phone and any credit card # that might be used to make your payment... they can use your phone without you knowing it. I was wondering do you need protection for a cell phone as well as a computer?????  Whatever you do, do not return the text!!!!

I keep getting text messages from 999-999-9999 with weird symbols and no actual words.  My texts cost .15 each and it is starting to add up and I'd like to get it to stop!

This number constantly keeps on texting me almost 24/7 with random symbols and letters that dont even make sense. It has been going on for a while and I would like to know what is happening.

I recieved maybe two texts at around 7 at night that just looked like letters, boxes, and different symbols that were sure not on my key pad. The number was 9999999999 and when I texted back, no reply. I called and my phone said that it wasnt the right code or number and to try again. I keep getting these messages :/

for the past 5 hours exactly an hour apart I get a call from 9999999999, it rings just enough for me to know I had a missed call....

The samethinG started happeninG to me .I have a blackberry also.

I have received 2-3 text messages a day that are all jibberish.  There is no real content, I have asked them to stop, but I am still receiving them.  Is there any way to stop them.

About 2 weeks ago I started getting text from 9999999999. Don't know who it is or what they want. But they are getting to be more frequent.

text messages all hours of the day/night. really irritating. i just delete them and hope they go away. New Blackberry as well.

Me too. Only instead of calls, I receive empty texts at 11:03 AM and PM. The first time I got a text, it was labeled as a duplicate message, only I'd never received one before.

999-999-999 Needs to be stopped. It all start when i was walking down the street at 11:59 and 7 seconds. I rang.... RING...RING...RING... I answered "HELLOOOO?".. Then what i heard next put chills down my spine. They replied with a rustling noise silenced by a scream. Then they said nice purple shirt ...... The scary thing was, I was wearing a PURPLE shirt. I replied "WAIT, HOw how how "
I said studdering "did you know that?! " They laughed... THEN hung up!

I got a call from this number, but I didn't pick up.  A few minutes later, I got a call from a credit card company. Figures.

keep getting text all hours with weird symbols,i finall text back and typed stop texting me you terrorist pc of crap,stopped for one day then started again

I also keep getting texts from 999-999-9999 and last month they pretended to be reminding me to pay my mobility bill so I thought it was my cell phone company.  But the last few days they are texting me again and saying I won $2 million in Blackberry contest and to get my claim # I need to email johnanderson34@live.com  or andersoncole54@hotmail.com.  I don't even have a Blackberry.
Whoever they are, definitely scammers
