I answered and told the man I do not take unidentified calls.  He said no problem, he would call me back later.  He sounded very suspicious and not at all like a bill collector and did not want to ramble into his "pitch" if he had one.  My guess is some sort of police call that connects them to your phone.

I received this call right after I contacted someone who is a suspected FBI informant.

My husband got a text message from 9999999999 phone number on his work cell and we were woundering why ? Said that they new an old friend of ours and wanted to hook up for a drink! If I could meet this person I would tell them next time they text our phone the police will be called to investagate.

this number keeps calling me and i have answered no talks back when ever i said hello its becoming a pain in the a$$ so i said if they call back they will be charged with harassment

If you are receiving text messages from 999 999 9999, they could be being sent by email through any computer. Texts can be sent to any cell phone from a computer. Here is a list of some addresses:

I am tired of getting text messages from this numb 999-999-9999 I get them all hours of the day and nite.
I also get messages from TELUS from this number and when I asked them why they say it is not there number.

I got a call from  this 999-999-9999 number. i answered and it was a male voice sounding like he was talking to someone else but he wouldnt answer me. I couldnt make out what he was saying and it was kinda like jubberish, it didnt even sound like he was speaking english but it didnt sound foreign either so im not sure. I said "hello" one last time and the caller hung up. The call only lasted a total of 40 seconds but i still found it quite odd. I had never heard of a number like this, when i tried to call back it said i was trying to call a number that didnt exist. My friend had gotten a call similiar to this from a 000-000-0000 number and the caller told him he was gonna die tonight in a whispery voice. I wonder if the 2 numbers could be linked?...

I received a Text message from 999-999-9999 just now....
dont care, dont know them, f them, doesn't bother me, checked the Internet, called everyone to see if they had called me. phoned city Hall see if anyone knew who it was. not spending tiome worrying or thinking about it... no not me

I got a blackberry in October of 2010...the first day it was activated I began receiving texts from 9999999999- they've never called. I took the phone back to the store and told them about it and they told me give it a few days and it would stop. Apparently they didn't know what they were talking about either because I've gotten random texts ever since, maybe once or twice a month. The last 2 weeks or so I've gotten texts everyday, sometimes almost constantly. The texts are always symbols, never actual words. It won't let me forward the texts to anyone. When I call the number it says it's invalid/disconnected. My service provider blocked the number for me but I'm still getting the texts. I figured maybe it was a blackberry thing...I had the same number with my last phone and never received anything from that 999 number on my old phone.

I received a phone call this morning with a 1999-999-9999.  What's or whom is making the calls?

I have a blackberry too!!  I also receive the text messages only and it is always symbols & letters!  I have text back telling them to stop texting me but it hasn't worked!  Maybe it is a blackberry thing?  I dunno!

I've gotten a few txts from this number over the past couple of days. The txts don't even make sense. They're just some random letters and symbols. I want to know who the hell keeps doing it and how I can stop it.

I got a call from 1-999-999-9999 at 2:40am I answered didn't say anything for a few minutes all I heard was a weird shuffling sound like as if someone was there rubbing the microphone on their shirt or something. It was creepy. I also had watched fire in the sky before bed so that made me even more creeped out, after that I couldn't sleep because now Im wondering WTF?

I recieved a call from 999 999 9999 this morning about 1:30. They hung up before I could answer the phone. I do not like to be woke up like that. I have no idea who it was. I am on the do not call list. I figured someone had just jammed their number. I do not know but I do know I do not like it. What can I do?

This number called me three times tonight. I answered first cause i thought it was maybe my brother pranking me but it wasn't. they hung up after 3 seconds. The called two times after that and left a voicemail. The voicemail was what i believe to be two young girls trying to call their mom. I kinda don't believe it. I just wanna know what's up.

Got a call from a 999-999-9999 .
She says shes a girl from facebook who's been trying to get with me . Im not sure what to belieeve.
She texts me from a different number but when she calls it goes to 999-999-9999 .
