I keep getting calls fro 08009524851. When answered there is no reply just silence. how can I stop them?

I got a call from this number today. Picked up, no answer. Thought it was a bit dodgy.

i keep getting calls from this number, on a daily basis now, and when pick up no one is there! very anoying!!  have stoped picking up now!

i just called them to complain and the guy (in forign call centre) said they are just marketing calls nothing to do with any policy,  and he will put a stop on them. if people keep getting calls i recomend you do the same.. :)

I keep getting calls at all differnt times of the day. I have answered once and there is no on there, it just hangs up!! IS this a scam call where they call up a huge rate with people on the phone for up to 2 mins asking whos there?! STOP CALLING ME!!

Its MoreThan insurance and they say they will stop the calls but dont. I get one every day and cant bar the number. Ive told them that if I get called again I will cancel my insurance with them!

I quote my insurance online and giving my landline number. but they call my mobile which is private use only.Never giving it out but they rang my mob and cut off.

Got a call from 08009524851. Didn't pick up at the time, but when I googled the number got to this web site, so thought I'd log.

It's really p***ing me off now, answering the call with nobody at the other end! How do i stop these people calling? Grrr

they have been calling 2/3 times a day for a week now, it is harrasment and i intend to call the police later

Just got a call, googled the number and ended up here. Nice to know I'm not alone but I'm not looking forward to rreceiving a call a day like some of you.

I can't even remember if I have More Than Insurance. Probably did once.

If you are getting bothered by these people, when they call, ask to be added to their "Do Not Call" list, any company that calls people selling something MUST now by law have a "Do Not Call" list, their systems must check against this list and will not call any numbers that are listed in it. tell them that you will give them 24 hours for this to take effect and after that, if you receive a call from them you will consider it harassment and contact ofcom. MoreThan insurance contacted me within an hour of my doing a quote on their site - as it transpires  their quote was £50 higher than my existing renewal.

I renewd my policy with Morethan on Wednesday, 11 January - since then I have had 10 calls each day from their gimps trying to sell me home insurance from India.

Starting to get very p!"£$d off with them!
