Got a call from "Unknown Name" with the only number showing on my Caller ID being 000. Of course, I did not answer it. That was at 8:43 p.m. on December 20. What I find suspicious is at 8:36 p.m., just seven minutes earlier, I received a call from "Augusta, GA, 706-925-0559, which I also did not answer. I never answer calls I don't recognize. If they want me, they can leave a message - which they never do. I think these two calls are connected. If I'm right, we know they are located in Augusta, GA at 706-925-0559. I do not intend to call them back, but if someone does, let us know. I have Call Blocking on my service, so I just add them which blocks all their future calls. Thanks!

Today again the same strange phone number my girlfriend knows that sometimes you can google the number to find out. Because that the first page is this one, when we where reading the message i reconize a lot in the messages. But still i am wondering who that caller is.

I been getting these calls from this 000000000 number asking for sum robert guy im guessing its probably a preview owner of my number since its a t-mobile cell..idk it sure is annoying how can i block this from happening it quiet annoying !...ughhh!..

been getting that same number but I blocked the number on my call reject list.

DO NOT call back they will charge some one and so, DONT CALL THAT NUMBER!!!

I get 2 and 3 phone calls a day from this number and would like for the harrassement to stop

ive tried to answer this number a couple of times before i checked it out online and it just cuts off, hope if it is some scam i haven't given enough info by simply answering the call

I have received multiple calls from 000-000-0000 The group tried calling with a real phone number a month ago (At least I thought it was a real number) saying that they were the YELLOW PAGES?!?!!! Then after going through my information, a recording behind the representative said,"You will be charged $14.95 per month if you agree to these terms.." I told the representative that they had refuted that this was a free service? I was then told to agree to the recording ... and that this was just their way of processing my information; for validation purposes! I told them that they were trying to scam innocent people and shoould be reported to the BBB(Better Business Bureau) unfortunately the phone number was another fake number! Since that phone call I receive multiple phone calls, all with the number listed above. When I ask for a supervisor or request that I be put on a do not call list, I get hung up upon, only to receive another call at least 5-10 times per day on my home phone which does not accept annonomous calls!!! I am also listed on the national do not call registry! How can companies, scam artists, and others get away with this!!!! HELP!!!!!!!

000-000-0000 Calls at all times of the day.  Last night they called at 9:20 pm CST.  I am in bed by then.  This is ridiculous.  So today they finally answered and I told them before they could say anything--to take my name off the list.  She started to say something and I repeated.  She said thank you..  

Very annoying.  If it is that important, they should leave a message.

I got my first call at 3:35 p.m. on Jan 3, 2011, and my second call at 1:02 Jan 4, on my AT&T cell phone. Can't figure this out. It appears that this has been going on for some time, seeing that others reporting on this were getting their calls in 2007!  I thought I was safe from this sort of thing since I am registered with DoNotCall.gov.

I too received a call like this - and not only did she want a donation, but specified that it be $100 as well.  She had such a heavy accent that I could hardly understand her.  My response was "are you fricking kidding me!!!!!!!!!!!"

My mother got this call, the caller knew her name and her health issues, intimating that they were calling from Social Services.  A few moments later my mother recieved another call to arrange an appointment for a stairlift to be fitted, my mother believing the caller genuine arranged for them to visit the following day.  
Then I found out and told her to call me when they arrived, unfortunately they didn't, but the first caller rang back.  This time my mother said she could not afford a stairlift.....and the caller asked her about her finances.

She put down the phone as I had told her to do.  When I checked the caller ID, I also got 000-000-0000.  BEWARE!!

I have an update for my earlier message.  Two days after the first call from this number, my mother recieved an info pack from Acorn Stairlifts.  The letter begins -

Thank you for your recent enquiry through our officially accredited partner etc, etc.

Calls me everyday while I'm at work. I picked up once and it made a short (locating) noise then hung up

Call from this number this morning. Left a message. It was just blockbuster telling me to update my credit card info. I rent from there a lot.
