Report a phone call from 000000000000 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- marie zsentkoi got a call today from 000000000 but was to scared to answer it.never new such number existed
- jackkeep getting calls from these 0000000000number asking for a philip thomson he dose not live here not even our name when asked what they want they say not importent and hang up
- Caller: not known
- ValI have just taken one of these calls. It was a lady saying she was conducting a Lifestyle Survey and would like to ask me some questions. I replied I didn't wish to participate (apart from the fact I am registered with the TPS anyway so they shouldn't be calling me) and she disappeared off the line without another word. The 000000000000 number seems to be a screen for any number of companies cold calling who don't wish their numbers to be tracked and reported. Another hurdle we victims now have to get over...
- Caller: 000000000000
- Call type: Survey
- ValIn addition to my report above, have just another of these calls 3 hrs later. A man asked if I was the lady of the house, and before he could say anything else, I said I was not taking part in any surveys. The line just went dead.
- Caller: 000000000000
- Call type: Survey
- kim kennedywas called yesterday by this number 00000000000000 dont know whom this is they didnt even speak to me

- fedupI just had one of these 0000000000000000000 calls. Line went dead when I answered, I tried 1471 to find this ridiculous string of zeros. I was phoned a few weeks ago (didn't get a number that time) by someone asking if I was the Lady of the House. I told her not to call again and and hung up. A few hours later another similar call, this time a male operator. I told him his colleague had already tried my number once, and if they phoned again I would report them to the police as I regard these as nuisance calls. Nothing more until today.
I have registered my number with the TPS, after being bombarded with cold calling some years ago. Things have been quiet since then, until now.
I don't know what can be done to stop these scumbags, but if anyone finds out I would be happy to know!- Caller: unknown
- FedUpWithTimeWastersGot a call from a foreign gentleman on this 00000....... number - he asked for the lady of the house. When I asked what the name of the lady was he hesitated and said Mrs Grid. When I said there was nobody here with that name he hung up. These kind of phoney calls just waste time I haven't got to spare.
Another good one is the phone calls regarding HP cartridges (from a number 'withheld') who want your credit card details or cheque before sending any cartridges and claiming to operate from Yorkshire - when challenged were they were based the address did not exist. Again when challenged that I had just typed up the company name on the website and it doesn't exist, he put the phone down.
Beware, there are lots of scroungers after your hard earned cash. Be one step ahead and challenge them every time. They will soon get sick of trying to justify who they are.- Caller: Did not state
- Call type: Prank
- noohooMissed a call from a number with ten, zero's (0000000000). Never seen this before and found this forum.
My landline, which it called on, is registered with the TPS as is my mobile. How in the name of god do they get our numbers? This kind of witholding should be illegal. Can't even report the slimy [***] if we dont know where they are or who they represent.- Caller: Unknown
- JG replies to klaou2| 1 replyYes I have recently had a member of my family pass away. These 000-000-0000 #'s are very annoying. Recently I answered the call and they asked for me and then hung up. Any thoughts?
- UkuleleKateThis number rang me in December and there was no one on the other end.
I've not had another call from this number until today (03/03/10, 16.51pm).
I now have an an answer machine (had to resort to this due to the amount of cold calls and scams disturbing me thoughout the day) but I still check with 1471 to see who called, and report here if necessary.
They did not leave a message.- Caller: 000000000000
- UkuleleKate| 1 replyPhone rang today (07/03/11) at 13.19pm.
I had forgotten to put my answer machine on so I ignored it.
They tried for a long time before they finally rang off.
When I did 1471 it was this number again.- Caller: 000000000000
- Jarmin Apple replies to UkuleleKateMy personal opinion (yes before anyone tries to sue me), is that the likes of Virgin Media and other such well known communications companies 'legally' sell our details on knowingly to these shankters or something else this rhymes with. The overpaid company directors pocket this profit, and probably get a cut of the scams that operate.
- CatrinWe've had several calls from this number over the course of a couple of days - my husband answered twice and there was silence. I answered the last call and there was a foreign lady saying she was conducting a lifestyle survey that would take only a minute of my time - she didn't ask if I wanted to take part, so I cut her short saying I was in the middle of my tea and I put the phone down - not had any more ...yet.

- Caller: 000000000000
- MelonickThis is my 2nd call on this number, didn't answer it, who ever it is never left a message. I've never seen this number before strange, next time I'll pick it up speaking French
- Est87Called just now - no sound at all and no idea who it was. :/
- footprintMy answering machine (which, due to the high level of nuisance calls, I have had to set up as a screenup with a message to the effect that "despite this number being registered with TPS I still receive unsolicited calls - so IF important, leave a message") fielded a call from this number today. No message, of course!
Why on earth cannot the telephone companies do something about this sort of breach of TPS rules?- Caller: unknown
- bubblesi had call from this so called number yesterday they wanted the householder i said as he called this number he must know who they wanted he just kept saying the householder so i hung up
- Caller: didnt say
- 000000000000I had a call from this number this morning, a man was telling me how I could have down loaded a virus and was offering to fix it for me I told him I had no problem and hung up.
- SootsLast week I had a call from 'Unknown number' a lady with a local accent saying she could have my number removed from databases, so I wouldn't get so many nuiscance calls, when she then said was my address still......... & then gave one I did not recognise (I've lived at the same address for almost 20 years) asked me for my current address & told me she would need my card details to charge for their 'admin fee' when I said could she email me so I could see it she said no I had to do it then on the phone, I said I never give theses details out she got quite angry & very rude so I hung up.
Since yesterday (30th June) I've had 3 calls from all the 0s first nobody there & odd background sounds, second silence & then a very polite very Englisg voice said 'Goodbye' & 3rd call around 15 minutes ago lady with a heavy jamaican type accent who said she was from 'The Justice Department' & I owed money for a banking service, but the line was so bad I couldn't understand entirely what she was saying, however 2 very worrying points, she had my name (although she pronounced it incorrectly) & as I live in the UK we don't have an organisation called 'The Justice Department'
I am more concerned that someone like my elderly parents may get a call from these scumbags & be frightened by them !!!!!!- Caller: 0000000000
